Orphanage abuse

Don't get how arch diocese can remove itself from any oversight responsibility or why such lawsuits can't go after the Catholic Church in Rome as there was an affiliation with it. Seems confusing.

Re: Orphanage abuse
Since we are generalizing lets not stop with catholic church. All 'institutionalized faiths are subject to corruption at every level. (Having said that, there are always some good and well meaning honest people with heart in every faith who are perhaps a bit too naiive or needy to see the ugly seamier parts and contradictions)

Re: Orphanage abuse
Roman Catholic church officials are accused of doing nothing to stop the often sadistic sexual and physical attacks by Christian Brothers who preyed on vulnerable boys at the once-iconic orphanage in St. John's, N.L.
