I don't have time for folks who are only willing to listen to one side of an argument.
If Jane Fonda isn't prepared to at least listen to someone with a different point of view, it weakens her credibility.
Celebrities who decide to take a public position on such controversial issues ought to "do their homework" first, which includes studying all sides before coming to a conclusion. And clearly, Ms Fonda hasn't done that.

If you watched the clip, when the guy tried to tell her that not all natives were opposed to the oil sands, instead of politely listening to what he had to say and then responding, she merely walked away while he was still speaking.
He wasn't being threatening in any way so, in my opinion, refusing to hear him out and then defend her position, was just plain ignorant.
