^^ No problem. If the experts are wrong and he beheads someone else they can rescind the order.

The Review Board found that “the weight of evidence does not substantiate that Mr. Baker poses a significant threat to the safety of the public.”

With the absolute discharge, Baker will no longer need any supervision and will continue to live in his Winnipeg apartment.

So he might be a risk, but not a "significant" risk. Now what does that mean?? And he will now have NO supervision. Wow.

I'm not sure that you understand how mental health works.

I'm not particularly surprised. If he had untreated mental issues and he killed someone, then he wouldn't be criminally responsible and his file would quickly turn into a treatment case.

Not saying I support it specifically, but I also don't oppose it because legal and medical professionals would have literally no other reason to discharge him if he hadn't achieved a state where he could be released.
Come quickly Jesus, we're barely holding on.

If he does commit another murder, hopefully the family will sue whomever released him now for every penny they have and will have in the future. Just out of principal, not for need of the money.

My friend was good friends with the victim.
This is absolutely disgusting.

Something nobody has addressed.........

Should Vincent LI (alias - Will Baker) decide to volunteer at a school, the Y, wherever. He will need to get a criminal record check.

He has an ABSOLUTE DISCHARGE, so no record will come up on CPIC. Cleared to help out with kids.

Cool eh ?

Sorry but this man should never have been released. Can anyone else remember them saying at the time of his arrest he had gone off the meds he was taking for something and that was the problem. I am sure I can remember that but I could have had a bad dream.

Am I the only one seeing an irony right now?

Sex offender on the loose, 50 convictions for previous crimes against women in our society.

And yet we're letting a murderer out, FULL RELEASE.
I guess he only has 49 more murders to do to catch up to the MIA sex offender.

Open Letter to Americans:

Sure, immigrate here.
But bring guns.
Lots.
Please.
Sorry for our :cuss: up state of affairs.

Canada.
