An RCMP officer charged after a 41-year-old man was run over and killed on a northern Alberta highway pleaded not guilty to two charges Wednesday in Fort McMurray provincial court.

Const. Michelle Phillips was not in court herself but entered her pleas through a lawyer. A preliminary inquiry will be held in June 2018.
