Homophobes back Alberta's con party

Homophobes back Alberta's con party

Postby maryjane48 » Sep 1st, 2017, 10:42 am

Parents' advocacy group that has been a vocal opponent of legislation protecting LGBTQ students in Alberta schools is now encouraging its supporters to get out and vote for the leader of Alberta's new United Conservative Party.

Parents for Choice in Education (PCE), a group that wants to use public money to fund private religious schools and has been outspoken in its opposition to Gay-Straight Alliances, is bragging that it recently obtained "powerful database software" that can be used to "organize and mobilize our supporters within specific constituencies."

The whole concept of the straight vs. gay is a divide and conquer tactic.

There will always be liberals content with no rules or boundaries & there will always be conservatives content with rules and boundaries

Morals vs. loose morals

The best approach is to realize this is a psychological social engineering tactic, its been used repeatedly throughout history.

Homosexual groups and religious groups are the opposite sides of the exact same coin.

well to a point. being gay or whatever isnt a reflection of faith. but being a homophobe or bigot of some type just about always is.

I am not a believer in homosexuality being a natural inclination.

I am of the mind that it is a "decision" made at some point of each individuals life.

I think that homosexuality is a faith.

Homosexuals place their faith in their choice of desiring sexual relations with persons of the same sex to be a natural inclination they were born with.

While heterosexuals place their faith in their choice of desiring sexual relations with persons of the opposite sex to be a natural inclination they were born with.

While Transsexuals place their faith in them having been born in the wrong body.

It's an interesting theory, but it doesn't seem to explain how examples can be found in many other animal species that reflect homosexuality. I'm challenged to agree that these animals make the same choice that you describe.

once again, misleading thread title for a silly thread, trying to sell a silly narrative. Why am I not surprised.
Not sure why I bother with a signature as it seems to just randomly disappear on a regular basis. Especially if it offends liberal snowflakes.

No doubt leftist fascists believe that it is the duty of the state to rescue children from the dark ignorance of the proletariat, but parents should determine the values and beliefs their children are exposed to, not government functionaries.

Sometimes parents will be right, sometimes wrong, but free choice is the best defense against collectivist ignorance and intolerance. No one should exercise a monopoly on the intellectual and social development of our children.

I'm reminded of the old movie "Rustlers' Rhapsody," where the protagonist (a lawyer, of course) undermines the security of the flamboyant 'Singing Cowboy' by asserting that the Good Guy must be a "confident heterosexual."

No doubt some people straddle a middle ground between the two sexes, and are fairly comfortable in relationships with others who share their gender flexibility. But for most of us, the die is cast, and no amount of "faith" will change our preferences.

Why anyone should care is beyond me.

Do you have a type?

For the sake of my argument, I am gonna assume you're a man.

Do you like blondes, brunettes or gingers? Do you like dark women or pale women? Are you a leg man, butt man or breast man?

Have 2, 3 or hundreds of people said someone was attractive but you didn't think they were?

These aren't really choices, they are just what turns you on more. You have preferences. You didn't decide it, your brain and body did.

Some people are attracted to the same sex. It's not necessarily a choice, they just get aroused by something different.

As for the OP, I think GB hit the nail on the head.

You don't need to believe anything. Same-sex bonding is a natural occurrence. It's been observed in up to 1500 different species, with up to 10% of a given species' population. You should try science sometime. Facts, not feels.

Because_They_Lie wrote:I am of the mind that it is a "decision" made at some point of each individuals life.

So what you're saying, is, that as a youth you could not decide if you were sexually attracted to the same or opposite gender... so you "chose" to be heterosexual. That was a choice?

...in roughly the same way that not collecting stamps is a hobby, or not smoking is an addiction. Sounds like you have some serious vices, my friend.

While the living place their faith of causing their heart to beat and lungs to process air to be a natural inclination.
