Trudeau Face Consequences.

Dork? Duck? Doink?

Anyway, watching this nitwit say "sorry" on newshour was just revolting. He looked smarmy and not sorry at all. He couldn't squeeze out ONE tear on behalf of all the Canadian taxpayers who foot the bill for his vacations, cough up millions to support his Muslim pals schemes, pay for his security team....nada. Not a drop of moisture there.

A measly fine for his transgressions that even a schoolchild wouldn't attempt?. Laughable if it wasn't so damned irritating.

While I expect the right wing to have field day with this, they do need to realize that one of the reasons that Harper was able to effectively press home such attacks was that he did offer some vision for improvements, like the triple-E senate (which he never delivered).

Sheer is rather ineffective because to date, he not offered a single positive to the Canadian electorate.

Sad but possibly true.

I'm pretty sure that Trudeau's promise to legalize marijuana is the only reason he got elected. It really is too bad when people vote on only one issue.

Justin did not have the right background and/or experience to be catapulted into the PM position the way he was. And his inexperience and naivete is now showing. Problem is, I'm not sure who we'd replace him with, because I'm not impressed with either of the other two candidates.

Easily the biggest scandal in Canadian history. Greater by far than the Pacific Scandal in the 1870s. It endangers the very future of the nation carrying on. Lock him up! Lock him up!

Suggesting we "lock him up" is overkill, but we definitely should be lobbying our MP's for changes to the ethics rules, particularly as they pertain to penalties.

Rules without consequences if broken are useless.

Two points really jumped out at me - this wasn't a "family friend" except to his father if there has been no contact for 30 years and it wasn't a "rule" that was broken but a "law". A shame to go down in history as the first prime minister to have broken a federal law.

I was just saying the other day that Andrew Sheer was the worst choice for the Conservatives. In my opinion, he was one of the best choices for Canadians of Conservative candidates running, BUT in terms of electability, the party would have been much better served going with a Trump like character in O'Leary or Kellie what's-her-name. Both would have been a disaster for Canada, but in a day and age where shock and outrage get you elected, they would have been able generate more votes.

I'd be happy if JT went back to his former life and got out of politics all together. Snow-board instructor, failed drama teacher, sometimes actor, and 100% trust-fund baby with no grasp of how the real world works. He's just not ready? He never will be ready.

I don’t think we can. As Merry pointed out “rules without consequences if broken are useless”. If parliament does nothing, then Trudeau will have to face the electorate next election. It is ironic, though, to see the usual suspects up in arms over every indiscretion now it is not their guy in power any more. Of course, noting such continual hypocrisy from the usual alt-right posters makes the rest of us automatically socialists by default so you should take my opinion with a grain of salt ;o)

Trudeau's not ready and possibly never will be. Andy's not ready, and quite likely he never will be either.

$48,966,065.00 is an immense amount of tax dollars given to the Aga Khan by the Trudeau government in 2016.

That's one expensive holiday for the Trudeaus, on our dime(s).

As usual, disingenuous twerps like Sheer and Skippy making something out nothing.

Oh my goodness. What a conundrum indeed. Jagmeet needs to find a seat he can win first. The way the NDP is tanking, he may be down to choosing between Jenny Kwanumist and the non-French speaking MP from Quebec who was elbowed in the boobs by Trudeau.
