JP Morgan under pressure to stop funding oilsands
JPMorgan Chase is the target of a new environmental push demanding the bank end funding for oilsands drilling, HuffPost has learned.
In a new campaign set to be announced Tuesday, the San Francisco-based Rainforest Action Network criticizes the country's largest bank by assets for providing over $3.1 billion to oilsands producers between 2014 and 2016 alone.
The group planned rallies on Tuesday afternoon in Denver, where JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon is visiting with local officials, and sent a letter to Mayor Michael Hancock urging that Colorado's capital divest from the bank

Times are changing. Bit by bit we move towards replacement energy, it doesn't happen overnight and the tides shift bit by bit.
However declaring that environmental groups dislike people who fund oil is a "times are changin" statement, well that's just silly. That's just what they have always done while they burn oil......complain yet use.
Change is good, constant over the top hyperbole and falsehoods though, detrimental to the evolution of societal energy.

I say JP Morgan should be congratulated for making a sound investment in Canada's oil sands. And I also say that JP Morgan should tell the commie scumbags at the RAN to ram it where the sun don't shine. Keep up the good work JP Morgan! Excellent investment and lending strategies.
