Because we want to future-proof highways to save money in the long run?

If reading something like that causes you to vomit...you might want to see a doctor. Just saying. Gravol might help as well.

Rethink Climate change

The Pebb building in Ottawa. I suppose that'll teach them not to put buildings inside a trough that let all the water from around the neighborhood drain in to. Ottawa has had a record amount of rain. They had lots of rain in 1928 too. As time goes on and the nature of weather is fairly random, the records WILL be broken again. Calgary is the same, they had severe flooding a number of times and more than 120 years ago but never build infrastructure to accommodate it and are always surprised when it happens.
