FYI. There are at least 8 different types of Socialism. I'll bet you think Communism and Socialism are the same thing too?

You could all say they’re political ideologies. That’s about all you can say. Seriously you need to actually learn something and stop just parroting buzzwords you don’t understand

Image

Hitler put the word socialist into the party to try and hijack the term and turn it into something else. Similar to what they did to the swastika. There was nothing remotely socialist about the party in actual ideology.

This was all taught in grade 11 btw iirc. Between this and the genetics thing earlier I’m starting to wonder if you went through the same school system...

Also it’s rich to see people in this thread talking about how it’s wrong for anyone to support or call for violence.

This is over a year old. I’ll find an updated one when I get home.

We're just intelligent people who understand what words mean.

The National Socialist German Workers' Party commonly referred to in English as the Nazi Party

That sounds a lot like our NDP

What is funny is that you think you know what your talking about. Antifa is just a bunch of ignorant scum exactly the same as nazi's. And needs to be wiped out, just like nazi's. Anyone who defends either side of this same coin is a complete idiot.

Are you sure? You seem a little rusty on other matters of history.

Anyway, it is widely accepted that Hitler was authoritarian-right and Stalin was authoritarian-left. The problem wasn't so much the right or left bit, but rather the authoritarian bit. Fascists are, basically by definition, authoritarians. Communism seems to only work as authoritarian too. Socialism or at least socialism inspired ideology is not by necessity authoritarian, as social democracies show quite adequately. The domination of the top of the list freest countries by European countries with 6 of the top 10 in the Human Freedom Index, and most of the remainder embracing some socialist ideals, such as socialised medicine, is strong evidence that freedom and socialism are not mutually exclusive. Here is the top 10 free countries in the World:
1. Hong Kong
2. Switzerland
3. New Zealand
4. Ireland
5. Denmark
6. Canada
6. United Kingdom
6. Australia
9. Finland
10. Netherlands

Capitalism is also well represented here too, which is evidence that a balance of socialist and capitalist ideals seems to result in the most free and frankly best countries in the World. One sad point to make is that our neighbour to the South faired quite poorly, so despite claiming to be the "land of the free", they only managed to come in in 23rd. This was before the current president took office, so I doubt that they will be climbing up the list any time soon.

So you promote/condone violence as long as it is your side doing it. Is that correct?
