The difference is this link is Canadian, its Medical, and its actual Science by actual doctors.

Again no on is saying there aren't benefits. What I personally am saying is that the Industry needs to show the REAL benefits from actual real studies by actual real recognized scientists and they've had a LONG time to do this.

Well in the US it has been illegal to study health effects of marijuana. Meanwhile the WHO and other agencies have continued their research

There is increased interest from Member States in the use of cannabis for medical indications including for palliative care. Responding to that interest and increase in use, WHO has in recent years gathered more robust scientific evidence on therapeutic use and side effects of cannabis and cannabis components.

To that end, the ECDD did an initial review of a cannabis compound called cannabidiol (CBD). Recent evidence from animal and human studies shows that its use could have some therapeutic value for seizures due to epilepsy and related conditions. Current evidence also shows that cannabidiol is not likely to be abused or create dependence as for other cannabinoids (such as Tetra Hydro Cannabinol (THC), for instance). Isn't this science? These are actual real doctors from Canada putting our real concerns about a real thing.

Again I'm not saying there isn't benefits, what I'm saying is people like you need to start getting real science behind your claims instead of one hand telling everyone "weed is medicine" and then on other posts telling EVERYONE to "light it up"

You keep touting medical marijuana benefits to backup your love of recreational marijuana. You do realize they are two totally different things don't you. Even Israel whom you are using to prove your point has not legalized recreational marijuana. I wonder why if it is so good.

Do you even understand that most of the people who will be using marijuana once it is approved will not be using it for medical reasons. Give us some good reasons for using it for recreation other than dumbing down your mind. Better yet give us some scientific proof that some or all of the possible problems, such as damaging the brains of young adults are not true. You do realize that the age the government is proposing is within the ages that scientists and doctors are saying harm can be done. Yes no one is arguing that it has medical benefits but there also some serious side problems that we know of and probably lots we don't know of. There needs to be a lot more testing and investigation. Good on Israel for being a leader,

Id argue it is all medical. Id kill people for fun if it was not for a bit of herb. Thats the truth. Herb helps a lpt of people with all sorts of stuff. I have not seen a doctor in 20 years. I wont be going to see one any time . Never been sick.
