I've never set foot in Saskatchewan. Been as far as Cold Lake, AB, but not to SK. My Alberta friends make it look glam with their photography, maybe I should go this year?

I'm getting jealous with everyone's SK memories, "it was 30 below and that' was in the indoor outhouse."

While I was born right here in Kelowna, I did spent much of my younger years in Saskatchewan and never thought I'd miss the prairies when I finally got back to BC. I definitely don't miss the bitter cold with biting wind that made walking to school horrible, but at least I didn't have to go uphill both ways! I also don't miss the grasshoppers of the summer. What I miss the most is the sky. I miss being able to see a storm raging in the distance, and clouds on the prairies are so much more interesting to watch.

2 traveling salesmen in a bar strike up a conversation and 1 asks the other.

Where are you going next?

The other says, Saskatchewan.

The first one says the only thing in Sask. are Hookers and Hockey players!

The other says, Hey my Wife is from there!

The first guy says, Oh ya, what position does she play? [icon_lol2.gif]

They will only know that if you are north of Saskatoon, as it is a Co-op Chocolate milk. If you are in the south they will be clueless. Same goes for a bunny-hug that is north, south it is a hoodie.
