While I’m not from the Jaw, I’ve lived a number of years among the Moose Javians, here are a few things I’ve missed. It’s very easy to get around the friendly city. Main St is the main street, Mickey d’s on McDonalds St, the liquor store is in the train station and the head shop is at 420 High St.

Best donuts are at M....L... bakery, and best soft serve at S..w H.., both on South hill. Also, surprisingly unexpected, the best mountain biking on the prairies at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, in the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley, 25 minutes from Main and High. Downtown MJ is also home to the best health food store in western Canada, A........R..., it’s a shame about the newspaper though.

Oh and constant air shows from 15 Wing, NATO training, and regular appearances by the Snowbirds
