As I've said in other threads on this subject.
How many unemployed people's IE ran out so they are no longer in the system as unemployed. So they may or may not have jobs.

low unemployment rate does not necessarily mean jobs are being created, as I said it may just mean benefits ran out.

I agree with this.
Though the same statement would be true if the unemployment rate were 12%.
Hard to put a number on the fish that got away, people will believe what they will depending on their bias if we depend on unknowns.

So to summarize this thread, nearly half a million jobs added in Canada this year is actually bad news because:
-Some people aren’t counted in unemployment statistics.
-Jobs that require an education are bad.
-Jobs that pay under $20 an hour are bad.
-Kelowna didn’t add as many jobs as the rest of Canada
-some are government jobs, which are bad.

Keep reaching to try and turn good news into bad. Bitter pessimism really is the best way to live our lives.

Let's not forget that highly paid government jobs are supported on the taxpayer dime, therefore head count should take this into account.

However, I am happy that private sector is managing to hire people who actually contribute into the taxpayer slush fund and somewhat reduce Canada's ever burgeoning debt load.

All a low unemployment rate in Canada means is that a lot of people came off employment insurance. It doesn't mean they found a job. Spin spin spin. Blah blah blah.

That's true. We do need to take this into account. while we do though, we have to also take into account the money these people spend in their communities (economists call this the "multiplier effect"). Obviously we need a healthy private sector as well, but we do need (and everyone uses) the services provided by public workers.
