what actual damage has he done? And I'm not talking about things his underlings do that he doesn't have much say in or is too busy worrying about the bigger things.. I think most people would agree he hasn't done a lot bad but he just hasn't done anything good and that's a big difference from your statement. Fake news and cherry-pick information appears to be working on most of the commenters I see

If it was just “a joke” then he FAILED. People are laughing but is at us from around the globe.

He should probably just stick to selfies, he is good at that.

If what others have said is true that the audience laughed and even the woman in the room laughed and was not offended then the only thing that failed are the media Outlets that continue to put things in a light that aren't true with short Snippets to get people going and also the people that read such stories and can't see the big picture or media manipulation. People thinking for themselves have failed what all they do is listen to one media Outlet or a couple and can't see the big picture or see things for what they really are.

Supporters of Trudeau must be pleased to see the desperate levels his critics are going to in their efforts to make
something out of nothing. I really doubt his failed jokes are going to be high on the list of election issues.

Was it a joke? We will never really know the answer to that. Will it make a difference with his chances of getting re-elected? Probably not as the people really upset about it weren't going to vote liberal in the next election anyway.
Now the statement that veterans are asking for more than we can afford, this should get him booted out of office immediately. Only a jack_ss would ever say anything so inappropriate. It is an insult to every Canadian who has ever served.

Over a comment? How about Harper’s actions against vets?

Trudeau’s biggest crime here is continuing a court case that was started under the conaervatives

Notice how the lady as well as the audience laughed? Notice how in a post interview the lady said she wasn't offended? Pretty sure because 'peoplekind' was meant to be silly. But of course people here have to take it seriously and act like Trudeau is going to start kidnapping and beating people who dare say mankind.

Ya know what, it might, and I mean might have been an of the cuff statement, but I think the statement was actually representative of of how this *bleep* PM thinks and I am embarrassed that he represents Canada. A true statesman does not make comments like this, even in jest, that leaves open interpretation of meaning. It is just amateur and immature.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

We shouldn't be surprised at all. His dad crammed French down everyone's throats. Now baby Pierre is cramming a bunch of ultra-Liberal crap down our throats so he can go down in history as the grand champion of gender neutrality, feminism, and legalized pot (while someone else is left to deal with the debacle that he is likely creating). When Canadians finally have enough of him just like his old man, he'll go back to his trust fund and make tons of money on the speaking tour talking about how he single singlehandedly made Canada the wonderful, welcoming, inclusive land that it is.

It's all about timing. IF stupid would have waited for the Posed question to be asked, he could have jokingly said " Can we call ,it peoplekind as we should all be". He would have had a giggle or two. BUT firstly he interrupted his friend who was posing the question and just sounded stupid.

^^^^ To answer your question, see this hilarious article courtesy of todays Toronto Star.

JT is seen world wide as a monumental goof mostly due to mouth and brain(?) never meshing.

For those who still live under a rock, there is plenty more of JT's foolish remarks online that have accrued to reach the crescendo of today.

What is more rare and difficult to find is "smart things out of JT's mouth".

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

a classic example of the effects of propaganda. Ask any of these people for actual reasons they say these things, and there is non to be had.

if THIS is the only thing Cons have to *bleep* about, Trudeau must be doing a bang up job.

Uh huh.. So me seeing him be a *bleep* everyday on the CBC and without paying attention to the CBC's opinion on the matter, just seeing his behavior and forming my own opinion about it... From the CBC.. Wouldn't that make the CBC propaganda then? People cannot form their own opinions, probably from the same information you've received in some cases.. If it's not the same opinion as yours, it's must be from propaganda then?

The guy is an embarrassment. Believe it or not, but politics involves posturing, flexing your muscles and demonstrating that you are not to be *bleep* with just like in the animal kingdom. We are animals after all, and even though we have a much more evolved ability to think than other animals, we still have many of the same instincts deep down and operate in a lot of the same ways. If you present yourself as a big *bleep*, you're going to be treated like one. You cannot find a weaker world leader really, except for maybe some socialist european countries. Frankly, I find that extremely embarrassing, because this man represents this country and every one of us in it.

EDIT: To get even more specific, I find him bending over backwards for every single minority group without weighing the cost to majority groups to be hilariously futile and damaging to the social fabric of the country. The needs of Canadian citizens who have lived here the majority of their lives, or those who's family have been here for generations are being sidelined for those whom belong to a small demographic that has needs conflicting with those of the majority.

A good example being the pronoun laws that have recently come into effect, because someone feels as if they are not the gender they presented as at birth, I now am forced to bend over backwards to accommodate them when they are but a tiny, tiny minority. I wish the best for these people, and hope they get the help they need, but not when it comes at a cost to my freedom and rights, or when it imposes criminal legislation on me for such a petty offense. What happened to the attitude that sticks and stones may break my bones, but words cant hurt me? People need to grow a thicker skin, we are becoming far too domesticated..

No, its propaganda because most of it is just parroted versions of attack ads. That's not forming a just and educated opinion. I welcome open and active criticism of our government, unfortunately I haven't been able to find any. Typically all i read is drivel mentioning hair or his father or even having me personally attacked. The problem here is not that they have a differing opinion than me (and many many others) it's that they don't even have an opinion that was based on any rational thought, they bought into the attack ads, or they follow the crowd of alphas because its the cool thing to do

So how have you had to "bend over backwards" to accommodate the lgbtq community? You don't wish the best for these people at all, you think something in their private lives is somehow "affecting" you and your freedom.
Before giving someone a piece of your mind, make sure that you have enough to spare.

Suddenly a PM is not allowed to have a sense of humour or make jokes. What will this mean for Scheer? Whatever will he do with all those Simpson’s jokes he’s borrowed?

Humour is all about delivery. His delivery is off. Right when he says it look at the faces in the crowd. If Trudeau was delivering a joke they didn't get it. They cheered in support of his comment. And it still doesn't excuse him for interrupting her. #rude

Not to mention I use humour all of the time to get my point across. Lets assume he was joking, that still doesn't mean he wasn't trying to instill his ideology on the crowd.

Look at this screen shot I took right after he interrupted her. Nobody is laughing.
