Scientists Pollution Demand

How much will this cost the taxpayers? Looks like something JT will be only to quick to get on board with, thus looking even more awesome.

Ottawa has already moved to restrict the use of flame retardant chemicals in clothing, toys and other household items. One would have hoped that the addition of foam gym equipment to the restricted list would have been an easy get for Miriam Diamond. No such luck, I guess. :-X

Many would welcome a complete ban on the use of such chemicals in products where people - children in particular - are likely to be exposed, but that would require a broad international consensus, as few global manufacturers will bother to jump through hoops simply to satisfy Canadian regulatory requirements.

The more we learn about the dangerous chemicals that are unnecessarily added to manufactured products, the more likely we are to invest in good ventilation systems.
The biggest problem of censorship is that it tends to be the last resort of the ideologically arrogant and intellectually lazy … A day spent in defense of freedom of speech is a day spent in the company of bigots and hate mongers. – Omid Malekan
