Another incident in Okatoks, watch this video. It appears farmers and ranchers there also have their hands full.

And wait for all the apologists to come on here with their "stigma" garbage and how it wouldn't happen if hard drugs were legalized and free.
Going to come a day when victims are going to rebel and take back our rights over the criminals. Shame on the RCMP and the broken legal system.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

You are conflating two diff issues
There is no clear law,in our charter to shoot people that are not directly trying to kill you . Becoming florida,is not something Canada, should strive for .

That is the TRUTH, today it is called catch and release. I guess after a while it becomes tiring for some and that is why there are less dedicated Police Officers sadly.

On facebook those defending the Colton Boushie felt it was all OK as it is just stuff. Well I guess if you don't work hard for your own stuff, that is all it is. Sadly, many of these were likely parents and of Indiginous decent, by name and photographs on Facebook.

I do realize, not all are that way so let's not go there. However, if some believe in this, how do you change them?

Most theft is caused by drug issues. Wake up. Protecting ones property is not becoming Florida. Absolute deflection.
Yes, we Canadians should just bend over and take it.....nope. It is coming to a tipping point and the consequences of the apologists agenda will be very bad.
The only bad thing about the o/p article is the criminal survived. Scum that needs to be put down like a rabid dog.

If person had security cameras that caught face and plates. Why not give that to RCMP to handle under the law?

Seems everyone has this hard-on for guns. Desperately wanting that wish fulfillment of justifyingly killing another human being.

Go join the armed forces if you want to do that.

Whose to say I haven't? Hmmm?
And why would I waste a bullet? More people die in Canada by stabbings than shootings. I guess everyone has a hard-on for knives.
Desperately wanting to protect criminals that are caught and released constantly? The law is an *bleep*. This story is proof. But go ahead and blame the victim, it's the apologist way.

You cant go around shooting folks in Canada,. In florida, you can if you think someone sneezed at you . We do not want to go down that road .

Drug issues and shooting issues are two seperate issues .

If you think it is something to get elected on then see if you can get andy to run on shooting for any reason and watch jt. Rule for next 20 years .

Police did the job as our charter says for them to do . There is no debate. Now a judge or jury will choose what. Follows. As it should be

The thief was later arrested with a gun. I will not wait around on my property while some idiot with a gun (could be high on drugs) goes through my possessions.

Would you wait around to see what happens?

Maybe it's just a young women in the house all by herself who has so far just sat there looking complacent while being robbed; maybe the thief takes advantage of her and continues to steal her stuff?

It really :cuss: me off that the expected Canadian way it to just say "here you go, take my stuff, come back tomorrow if you can't fit it all today".

Desperately wanting that wish fulfillment of justifyingly killing another human being.

BS buddy. This guy wasn't out actively hunting humans. He had a stranger on his property touching his stuff and took action. Know what isn't covered easily by insurance? Lost opportunity on your farm with all the equipment that was stolen.
