You are conflating two diff issues
There is no clear law,in our charter to shoot people that are not directly trying to kill you . Becoming florida,is not something Canada, should strive for .

That is the TRUTH, today it is called catch and release. I guess after a while it becomes tiring for some and that is why there are less dedicated Police Officers sadly.

On facebook those defending the Colton Boushie felt it was all OK as it is just stuff. Well I guess if you don't work hard for your own stuff, that is all it is. Sadly, many of these were likely parents and of Indiginous decent, by name and photographs on Facebook.

I do realize, not all are that way so let's not go there. However, if some believe in this, how do you change them?

You cant go around shooting folks in Canada,. In florida,you can if you think someone sneezed at you . We do not want to go down that road .

Drug issues and shooting issues are two seperate issues .

The thief was later arrested with a gun. I will not wait around on my property while some idiot with a gun (could be high on drugs) goes through my possessions.

Would you wait around to see what happens?

Maybe it's just a young women in the house all by herself who has so far just sat there looking complacent while being robbed; maybe the thief takes advantage of her and continues to steal her stuff?

BS buddy. This guy wasn't out actively hunting humans. He had a stranger on his property touching his stuff and took action. Know what isn't covered easily by insurance? Lost opportunity on your farm with all the equipment that was stolen.
