Sikhs need not wear helmet

Anyhow, turban wearing sikhs have exempted from wearing helmets in BC for years now, has it been a problem ?

No idea...love to see some stats though. Let’s say you’re involved in a MVA with a motorbike and a non helmet wearing rider. What normally could have been a minor claim turns into a large claim due to extensive injury from them not having a helmet on.......so this could could affect the average person. IMO It’s just about double standards, period.

Not really anything to rant about. If someone doesn't want to wear a helmet then go right ahead.
I've seen the aftermath of a helmet-less cyclist being involved in an accident, it's not a pretty sight.

At the least when they wear helmets the EMT can just scrape the rest up and carry it in the DOT rated pail. Easier clean-up.
