Looking the list over it would appear that JT Libs has been in power for 30 and not 3 years.

A strange story Truthy, indeed.

The strangest being that the writer actually identified Hair-n_Sox as being the "second peep on the left" !!

Haha. He has the most recognizable face in Canada considering it adorns dart boards in homes right across the country. Snort!
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

There have been a number of comments about HuaWei and how JT and the Liberals have handled the HuaWei and Meng case.

Australia chose an easy way out, bowed to pressure from the US, and banned HuaWei. And blamed China for cyberattacks. For a while, little response from China except rhetoric. Then this: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-02-22/chinese-mofa-responds-on-coal-cyber-attack/10836402

"China has responded to reports of an indefinite ban on Australian coal imports, saying the move is to protect the interests of Chinese importers and the environment."

Complicated, and pretty much a no win.

Never mind the context nor the fact that the new package is huge improvement over what the CONservatives gave veterans.

Yes, I would like to give veterans more. Too bad Harper and the CONservatives did not believe in that, nor in fiscal responsibility that would have allowed us to do so.

Your 100% right about your post sans the traitor comment. The veterans deserve better. JT and the Libs should at least go back to 2006 Pension levels even if it cost 18 billion dollars more. I totally agree we should take better care of our veterans but the issues between vets and border crossers are different issues and circumstances. It's a fail in my book.

So after all the hubbub about Trudeau talking about the social consequences of a large number of men arriving in towns, I found it interesting to learn about some of the facts behind this. I’ve recently spent a fair amount of time in northern Alberta, and found that places like Grande Prairie are so bad for women, that hotels there need to have women only floors to ensure their safety. In Fort Mac, when a girls soccer time arrived, police had to speak with organizers letting them know the risks, and provided rape whistles to all of the girls. This still didn’t stop predatory males from trying to lure girls into unsafe situations.

Looks like there was some validity to Trudeau’s statement after all. And I guess albertans just didn’t like being exposed for what they really are.

So if any of the above is true, *removed* why didn't Mr. Umm and Ahhh mention any of this while he was slagging rural towns like an idiot? If he was going to virtue-signal to his base of ding-bats, why not actually mention some of the *what* you posted above?

people in those northern alberta towns say these things themselves. i remember doing a course for a mandatory ticket in bonnieville. and the self deprecating teacher at the beginning of the class said "welcome to bonnieville - the std capital of alberta". so if the people who live there are saying it - then who are people in these threads to say it isnt true? that teacher was MY source.

What does that have anything to do with the idiotic nonsense that came out of Trudeau's mouth about rural towns in western Canada?
