Rex Murphy strikes again. Unbelievable how much cowardice progressives have. They are so scared of offending people who might call them bigots they say nothing.

Imagine how much more cowardly they would behave in the face of real persecution.

Dear Twitter: Thanks for restoring Lindsay Shepherd—now give us Meghan Murphy

https://www.thepostmillennial.com/dear- ... an-murphy/

The process for reporting harassment on Twitter is pretty clean-cut, but what is done with that reported info, and the means by which users are then sanctioned or banned, is pretty opaque. This has been a complaint against Twitter for some time. Why is it that some users who report intimidation are listened to while others are not? Why is Twitter so obsessed with banning speech that does not uphold trans ideology?

If this non-partisan recommendation (# 8 by the Standing Committee) became Canadian law then Twitter would be required to answer those questions.

TAKING ACTION TO END ONLINE HATE Report of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights

http://www.ourcommons.ca/Content/Commit ... rp29-e.pdf

Recommendation 8—Establishing Requirements for Online Platforms and Internet Service Providers

That the Government of Canada establish requirements for online platforms and Internet service providers with regards to how they monitor and address incidents of hate speech, and the need to remove all posts that would constitute online hatred in a timely manner.

• These requirements should set common standards with regards to making reporting mechanisms on social media platforms more readily accessible and visible to users, by ensuring that these mechanisms are simple and transparent.

• Online platforms must have a duty to report regularly to users on data regarding online hate incidents (how many incidents were reported, what actions were taken/what content was removed, and how quickly the action was taken). Failure to properly report on online hate, must lead to significant monetary penalties for the online platform.

• Furthermore, online platforms must make it simple for users to flag problematic content and provide timely feedback to them relevant to such action. ................................................................................................... 38

Well, gollllee, as a non 'Twit' (highly debatable) I found the link where a person might be able to get some action  from Twitter on the above.

http://help.twitter.com/forms/abusiveuser

And, so far, I've received this message:

Thank you for your report.

Thanks for letting us know. If we find that this account is violating the Twitter Rules, we will take action on it.

While we take a look, there are other ways you can change what you see and who you interact with, like block and mute (non-applicable in my case).

We’re glad you made your report, and we want your experience on Twitter to be positive and safe. You can also get a copy of your report sent to you.

These are three Post Millennial reports of Yaniv's online activity.

Today:

EXCLUSIVE: Jessica Yaniv’s racism and anti-immigrant sentiment comes to light with shocking new evidence

http://www.thepostmillennial.com/jessic ... -evidence/

Previously:

EXCLUSIVE: 15-year-old alleged victim of Jessica Yaniv speaks out"

http://www.thepostmillennial.com/exclus ... peaks-out/

And:

EXCLUSIVE (update): Jessica Yaniv accused of trying to share child porn, sexual harassment of minors

. . . In the aftermath of Rumpel’s bravery (posted above), two new victims have come forward, and, as unbelievable as it might be, their intersecting stories are even more shocking. . . .

. . . Yaniv denied ever having direct messaged any girls from the Cimorelli fanpage, and ended the call when I began to read a specific message Nussac had provided from Facebook.

Ashley Smith (Ontario) has told The Post Millennial she will be filing a formal police report this week on her experiences with Yaniv.

http://www.thepostmillennial.com/exclus ... of-minors/

Still, we need better avenues established so people can reach out to the properly trained authorities when things are happening as well as so they can feel secure about it.

Again, the non-partisan Standing Committee has provided a recommendation for that.

Recommendation 4—Tracking Online Hate

That the Government of Canada implement the recommendations regarding the tracking of online hate formulated by the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage in its report entitled ‘‘Taking Action Against Systemic Racism and Religious Discrimination Including Islamophobia’’, dated February 2018:

• Recommends that the Government of Canada establish uniform panCanadian guidelines and standards for the collection and handling of hate crime data and hate incident data; this would include efforts to standardize the definition and the interpretation, by law enforcement, of hate crimes - Recommendation 5.

• Recommends that the Government of Canada create a national database to retain and analyze hate crime and hate incident data - Recommendation 6.

• Recommends that the Government of Canada mandate relevant departments and encourage partners at the provincial and municipal levels and within civil society to create additional reporting options for victims of hate crimes and hate incidents, in addition to reporting to law enforcement - Recommendation 8. ......................................................... 36

-----------------------------------------------------------

One of the reasons the Committee was established was in response to the online activities of the NZ shooter, which is alleged to have contributed to his acting out in real life.

Yaniv is using "protected class" as a weapon.

People who think they can solve the problem of bullying by creating "special classes" of people with special protections need to think again.

The objective should be equally respectful treatment of all, but for human rights tribunals and social justice agendas to exist we must have victims. Yaniv is a perfect example of someone who embraces the victim-hood mantle to get away with bullying.

If preventing people like Yaniv from practicing online and then acting out in real life is the objective, how is it that Yaniv is still online?

As though what Yaniv has already actually done online isn't bad enough...

Because the tools for prevention that are needed to enable the public to efficiently report activity to the proper agency and then see some effective action are yet to be put into place.

And the non-partisan Standing Committee is offering a start.

According to the Post Millennial, Yaniv was posting hate speech long before supposedly acting on it.

At that point there would've been no excuses whatsoever to offer as a defence.

I doubt the standing committee is willing to address the problem of how social media was silently complicit while enabling and emboldening Yaniv via "protected class" during those harmful engagements with those girls.

There are parallels here with what happened in Rotherham.

The standing committee is rabidly denouncing folk like Shepherd while Yaniv is a far greater menace doing much greater harm.

We seem to have become a society unwilling to protect our most vulnerable from predators who will take full advantage of the "protected class" cloak we've provided.

The Committee has finished it's work. The problem was addressed throughout and remedies were suggested in the report.

Also I've commented on the poor conduct of certain members that belong to the the three participating political parties as well as provided links to all of the material that the government has made available to the public. It's become my archive on this subject.

We are the social media.

And we are extremely priviledged to have this well run and moderated site on which we can share our views in the security of knowing that what's going on 'out there' isn't going to go on here.

Apparently the El Paso shooter had similar online activities and posted a manifest on the internet.

"Cyberbullying by vegan activists a source of stress for farmers: psychologists"

http://www.thespec.com/news-story/95348 ... hologists/

". . . Farmer Mylene Begin, who co-owns Princy farm in Quebec's Abitibi-Temiscamingue region, created an Instagram account a few years ago to both document daily life on the farm and combat what she calls "disinformation and the negative image," of agriculture. Today, she describes herself as the target of bullying from vegan activists.
Begin recently changed the settings on her account after having to get up an hour early to delete more than 100 negative messages a day — some of which made her fear for her safety, she said.

"There was one that took screenshots of my photos, he shared them on his feed after adding knives to my face and writing the word 'psychopath' on my forehead," the 26-year-old said. "It made me so scared. . . ."
