Have you seen the latest episode of "The President and the Porn Star"?
On tonight's show Trump tries to move the Daniels lawsuit to federal court where he gets to appoint the judge.

FBI Agency Director Andrew Mccabe gets fired two days before his retirement. Really? Trump is despictable.

Tainting the FBI is exactly what Putin would want right? To undermine the America's main national and civil security agency in any way possible.

You don't say!

McCaffrey has also worked as an adjunct professor at West Point and led the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy for five years during the Clinton administration.

Trump has come under fire for his response to Russian interference in the U.S. election. The president has repeatedly hit the probe into Russian election meddling as a "witch hunt."

His administration unveiled new sanctions against Russian cyber groups involved in election meddling on Thursday, including individuals and groups charged with election interference by special counsel Robert Mueller.

However, Trump had been criticized for not implementing sanctions against Russia earlier, after Congress passed a bipartisan bill last year giving him the power to do so.

U.S. Cyber Command chief and National Security Agency (NSA) Director Adm. Michael Rogers testified before the Senate last month that he hadn't received instructions from Trump to take additional steps to deter Russian cyberattacks aimed at U.S. elections.

What has Putin got on Trump?

Does anyone think Putin would have ordered a nerve agent attack on a former double spy in England if Trump wasn't so weak against Putin?

Retired four-star Army general: Trump ‘serious threat to US national security’

A retired four-star Army general said that he believes that President Trump is a "serious threat to US national security."

Retired Gen. Barry McCaffrey tweeted Friday that he reached the conclusion about Trump because the president "is refusing to protect vital US interests from active Russian attacks."

"It is apparent that he is for some unknown reason under the sway of Mr. Putin," he added.

This really is quite an embarrassing time for the United States, but the Americans allowed themselves to be duped by this second-rate snake oil salesman and got what they deserve. It’s too bad there are going to be so many negative fallouts from this mistake (across the globe but felt mostly on this continent). Still, notwithstanding the very real threat this imbecile poses toward global economic stability and world peace, the person I feel most sorry for is Melena. I can't imagine she wanted this.

When someone doesn't have the ways or means to attack the message, they often attack the messenger.
We see this from Trump every day. He has no response to the ever-mounting evidence about the Russian meddling in the 2016 election, so he simply labels it fake news and a witch hunt and then sets about attacking the investigating bodies.
It's the same with many others on the right. It's a lot easier for many to dismiss CNN and the New York Times as fake news and then submerge themselves in the garbage that Breitbart and other right-wing propaganda machines spews, than it is to take the time to learn the truth.

Tainting the FBI is exactly what Putin would want right? To undermine the America's main national and civil security agency in any way possible.

Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) announced Saturday afternoon that he has offered McCabe a job to work on election security in his office, “so that he can reach the needed length of service” to retire.

Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) tweeted that he'd consider hiring McCabe, too.

Nor did Hillary or Lady Bird or Jackie O or any other wife of a powerful leader/businessman. But as was said from Hillary it's none of your business how she deals with it. Also I hope that Trump wins the $20 million from the porn star. Sends a proper message about contracts and the consequences of breaking them.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

The other people I feel somewhat sorry for (notwithstanding their comedic value) are those who are still deflecting and making excuses for him. I know they are making their own choice, but I suspect some simply do not have the intellectual capacity to recognize just how badly they are embarrassing themselves at this point. The American government has never been as much of a joke. Still, it is rather intriguing to watch the sad and desperate levels some posters go to be a part of that.

It has been hard to keep up. Every day there is at least two or three new news stories to embarrass the president and the nation, or stories of how he has embarrassed himself and the nation. The Americans really need to find a way to save at least some face and rid themselves of this great mistake (it will be some time before America is even as great as under Obama).

Trouble for Trump if Mueller meets Stormy

Stormy Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti, has a talent for stirring the publicity pot relating to his controversial porn star client. He dropped his latest morsels Friday during a drive-by of CNN and MSNBC's morning shows. In an interview with Chris Cuomo of CNN's "New Day," he said six additional women had come forward alleging sexual relationships with President Donald Trump and that his office was in the "early stages of vetting those stories." Avenatti also claimed two of the women have nondisclosure agreements.

<snip>

If Avenatti's statements are true, the interviews suggest that it may be time for Robert Mueller to meet Stormy Daniels. His investigation should focus on possible election law violations relating to the $130,000 hush money payment given to her.
The purchase of the silence of Ms. Daniels or possibly other women may be viewed by the Mueller team as unreported "in-kind" campaign contributions if the payoff was made to advance the Trump presidential candidacy. Such activity might be viewed as either a civil or criminal offense depending upon the facts of the case.

A threat of "physical harm" to prevent a potential witness from providing relevant information to criminal investigators would constitute a clear-cut obstruction of justice and might violate other state and federal criminal statutes, as well.

Impeachment is about the only way left for the Americans to save any face – hopefully before they are responsible for initiating the next global depression or world war. With sympathies to Melena, impeachment (jail?) is their best hope.

I also found it hard to keep up on all fronts of this particular administration.

I mean, what do you focus on? The revolving door of employees? The tatters that is the international diplomatic situation? The NAFTA trade talks and the threat used against Canada viz a viz the steel industry? Stormy and the dozens of lawsuits?
Like, Scandal, take a break already.
