Not hard to figure out, it has been coming for some time now, and it is going to get a lot worse. When most people are in denial as you can see on these threads it is an easy take over for the ones in control.

I wasn't understanding how they would do that, but listening carefully, it makes sense, for if you launch a brand new tech product (like the faster internet 2) and sell it as the best, leaving behind the old internet as an obsolete slow tech connection, "the mass" will go with the new tech, and "there" they will set "their" own rules from the beginning... with all kinds of censorship. I got to say that's a smart move, although it is awful, but anyway, the youngest generations to use it, will not even miss the certain "freedom" we have now with the internet, they'll be born used to the censorship.

This would not surprise me in the least. We are well on our way to Nannyism and government control of just about anything. Our children have been brought up to accept the world as their oyster and have become convinced we are all responsible for every impoverished soul the whole world over, while taxes and governments and envirofreeks and religions play their mind games with them. Capitalism is threatened and socialism to the max will be the way of the future. What do we have left for freedom fighters - maybe one generation max?

I really detest this world we are creating. I like my free-thinking freedoms.
