Not good ...

The U.S. accused Russia of escalating the Syrian conflict by sending attack helicopters to President Bashar Assad's regime, and U.N. observers were attacked Tuesday with stones, metal rods and gunfire that blocked them from a besieged, rebel-held town where civilians were feared trapped by government shelling.

There was no immediate reaction from the Russian Foreign Ministry on the accusation by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Moscow insists that any arms it supplies to its Damascus ally are not being used against anti-government protesters in the 15-month-old uprising.

"We are concerned about the latest information we have that there are attack helicopters on the way from Russia to Syria, which will escalate the conflict quite dramatically," Clinton said in Washington.

Putting children on the front lines to prevent war machines from being shot at?
I refuse to believe it, even though I saw it.

This is about a port and installing outside bankers. The rest is window dressing.

The hilarious part of this thread is that, at the beginning, this whole Civil War was allegedly false, and now at the end, conspiracy theorists are just trying to blame the West for it.

I never said anything about it being false - only pointed out that what we were being shown was false.

As for blaming the west - I have all along. This isn't the first country they've meddled in ya know.

Anyway, I stopped even paying attention to this months ago. Too much BS.

I get what you're saying. A civil war in a volatile country that is resulting in thousands of civilian casualties is clearly a non-story.

The OP is not saying that Asad is good, but rather that Asad is the lesser of two evils. I don't care if he has used chemical weapons against ISIS, we should NOT take up arms against him.
