i base my opinion on what the american military commanders had to say on why once bush implemented his own adviser , and would not listen to what they had to say , like tommy douglas , that not giving the sunni and kurds equal footing in the new iraq goverment , and how al maliki was treating the sunni ,that the surge accomplishments were going to mean nothing and cause a real civil war based on muslim teams for lack of better word. also keep in mind that a big part of the surges plan was the yanks paying bin ladens boys in iraq american money to not fight . let that sink in for minute , after 9/11 the americans worked with bin ladens army in iraq .

I suggest that everyone eat pork. Especially bacon. One taste of bacon and it would probably end 99.9% of suicide bombers, as they would now have something to live for.

You are right. I am just making this ISIS terror stuff up. Without all of those "right-wingers" and "fear-mongers" out there, no one would even know or care about ISIS. There truly is "nothing to see here". Oh wait...

Tunisia attack: Arrests over Sousse massacre

Tunisia has arrested a group of people over the massacre of 38 people, mainly tourists, by a gunman at the beach resort of Sousse on Friday, the country's interior minister has said.

Mohamed Gharsalli said 1,000 troops would now be deployed to protect the country's beach resorts.

Three European ministers have laid flowers at the scene of the attack in a sign of solidarity.

Islamic State (IS) has said it was behind the attack.

On Sunday the BBC learned that at least 30 of the dead were from the UK.

We have started by arresting a first group, a significant number of people, from the network that was behind this terrorist criminal," said Mr Gharsalli, referring to gunman Seifeddine Rezgui, the Tunisian student who carried out Friday's attack.

Tunisian authorities say he was the only attacker, but he had accomplices who provided him with weapons and logistical support, reports AP news agency.

"We are friends against one enemy," said Mr Gharsalli, addressing his counterparts from the UK, Germany and France.

British Home Secretary Theresa May described Friday's attack as "a despicable act of cruelty".

The gunman Rezgui came onto the beach from the sea either by jet ski or speedboat at about midday on Friday. He started shooting on the beach, entered the Hotel Imperial Marhaba and ran out of the front of the hotel before the police shot him dead.

The BBC's Mark Lowen says there is a sense of disbelief in Rezgui's home town. Not only is the community shattered by the news but it is also unable to comprehend how it could have happened.

Hey there Lakevixen. Too bad I didn't see you on the beach in Sousse on Friday when I was there. We could have done some shots! LOL LOL! Keep apologizing for my behavior though, we ISIS guys are even talking about sparing you from a beheading when we take you over!

Friday's attack was the deadliest in Tunisia's recent history. In March, militants killed 22 people, mainly foreigners, at the Bardo museum in the capital Tunis.

Tunisian authorities say army reservists will be deployed to tourist sites and that about 80 mosques accused of inciting violence will be closed within a week.

The BBC's Rana Jawad in Sousse says Tunisia's economy is largely reliant on the tourism industry and officials are keen to show that they are taking the necessary measures to prevent deadly attacks in the future.

Nothing to see in Britain either. It's all just make-believe.

Tunisia shootings: Britain could be hit by terror strike 'as early as today' expert warns

June 29 marks the anniversary since ISIS established their so-called caliphate in Syria and Iraq so the timing for another attack is spot on

The UK could hit be hit by a terror attack as early as today, a security expert has warned.

June 29 marks the first anniversary since ISIS established their so-called caliphate in Syria and Iraq so the timing for another attack on Westerners is spot on.

The expert also said that it is no coincidence that the horrific Tunisia shootings took place when they did because Friday was said to be the last “holy day” before the anniversary.

Dr Afzal Ashraf, a Consultant Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute, warned the Daily Express: “The timing of the atrocious attacks in Tunisia, France and Kuwait suggest that these events could have stemmed from the same motivation: to mark the first anniversary of the forming of the caliphate which will be on Monday.

”Instead of going to a mosque, the form of worship adopted by these people is to kill innocent people.”

Meanwhile it has been reported that more than 600 police have been deployed in one of the biggest counter-terrorism operations since the London bombings in 2005.

About 400 officers were on stand-by at UK airports this weekend to interview potential witnesses of the attack in Sousse that claimed the lives of at least 15 Brits.

However Home Secretary Teresa May said this number could change.

She said: “The figure for the number of confirmed dead remains at 15, but we should expect that that figure is going to rise.

The process is a complex one. And it is of course imperative that we get it absolutely right for families, and that can sometimes take time.”

Other staff including detectives, forensic specialists and family liaison officers were in Tunisia to assist in the investigation and to help prevent any further attacks.

It is believed that the 24-year-old gunman, Seifeddine Rezgui, who was shot dead by police after the attack, had accomplices.

The number of Brits murdered in the massacre will reach at least 30 and could rise further, Government sources have warned.

So far 15 British and Irish victims of vile jihadi gunman Seifeddine Rezgui, 24, had been confirmed dead.

Sources said the overall total, currently 38, will exceed 40.

There has been a delay in identifying bodies due to the local coroner who was insisting on seeing victims’ medical records before confirming their identification.

And Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said the delay was because many were “dressed for the beach, not carrying ID physically on them”.

He added: “There are a significant number of victims who have not been positively identified at this time and it is highly likely that a significant proportion of them will be British.”

Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have of changing others.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes their way.

I just wanted to join in. :)

The attack at a mosque in Kuwait last week was probably the most significant recently because it demonstrates that the age old rift between Shia and Sunni is now solidified for the foreseeable future. The implication being that the states of Iraq and Siria are all but finished and new borders will have to be drawn. There is really no hope of an inclusive government in either country that can repair the purposeful damage Isil has done. Not sure who said it but it fits well, "things are going to get far worse before they get even worse."

It didn't have to get this bad but as a final monumental blunder the republicans picked the Iranian puppet Maliki and signed an agreement that the US wouldn't leave a military presence like they've done in past wars. But the damage is done and it will get worse before it gets worse. Just one more bit of proof that Bush lead indisputably the worst administration in US history and the world will be paying for their foriegn policy blunders for the foreseeable future. God help us all if the the GOP win the next election.

We need to thank Donald Trump for his efforts in giving the Republicans the credibility they deserve.

It would be a brilliant political move for one party to plant a train wreck like Trump in the opposing party. We know he had been close to Clintons and giving to thier foundation. Maybe he's putting on Colbert style act for the role, would explain some of the hilarious things he's said recently. On second thought, nah, don't think he's capable of being anyone but the Donald.

Maybe Cruz is the plant, he's one seriously nutty dude.

Hey Isil, time to start shaking in your sandles, this guy could be the next president, he's completely unhinged, and he's coming for you.

To lakevixen and Think "Tank" ...

Your "one of a kind" suggestions do not seem to be working too well given the Islam Extremist Body Count for June.
