President Donald Trump addressed the nation's governors Monday morning at the White House. Trump spoke about the Middle East and said $6 trillion and 17 years later the region is a "hornet's nest." Trump said "we never win" and "we don't fight to win."

The mockumentary "Islamicize Me"

Well worth the watch the only thing I have seen on YouTube in 3 months, other than a Chris Cornell video.

Two more SJW millennials pay the ultimate price for their ignorance, and are killed by ISIS...sigh...

Asked why they had quit their office jobs and set off on a biking journey around the world, the young American couple offered a simple explanation: They had grown tired of the meetings and teleconferences, of the time sheets and password changes.

“There’s magic out there, in this great big beautiful world,” wrote Jay Austin who, along with his girlfriend, Lauren Geoghegan, gave his two weeks’ notice last year before shipping his bicycle to Africa.
They were often proved right.

On Day 319 of their journey, a Kazakh man stopped his truck, said hello and handed them ice cream bars. In a meadow where they had pitched their tent on Day 342, a family showed up with stringed instruments and treated them to an open-air concert. And on Day 359, two pigtailed girls met them at the top of a pass in Kyrgyzstan with a bouquet of flowers.
There were hardships, too, including punctured tires, snarling dogs, freezing hail and illness. But for Mr. Austin and Ms. Geoghegan, both 29, these were far outweighed by moments of human connection.

Then, just over a week ago, came Day 369, when the couple was biking in formation with a group of other tourists on a panoramic stretch of road in southwestern Tajikistan. It was there, on July 29, that a carload of men who are believed to have recorded a video pledging allegiance to the Islamic State spotted them.

A grainy cellphone clip recorded by a driver shows what happened next: The men’s Daewoo sedan passes the cyclists and then makes a sharp U-turn. It doubles back, and aims directly for the bikers, ramming into them and lurching over their fallen forms. In all, four people were killed: Mr. Austin, Ms. Geoghegan and cyclists from Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Two days later, the Islamic State released a video showing five men it identified as the attackers, sitting before the ISIS flag. They face the camera and make a vow: to kill “disbelievers.”

It was a worldview as diametrically opposed as imaginable to the one Mr. Austin and Ms. Geoghegan were trying to live by. Throughout their travels, the couple shared Instagram posts about the openheartedness they wanted to embody and the acts of kindness reciprocated by strangers.

^^^ I am so happy for these young people who realized their dream of roaming the planet and being so warmly welcomed as they biked for 368 days.

On day 369 they met ISIS supporters and their own demise, all too soon.

RIP

I tried to get my wife to watch... she couldn't handle the sucking boobs scene, so stopped watching for a few episodes after that.

HOUSTON - A Jordanian immigrant was sentenced to death on Tuesday after being convicted in what Texas prosecutors described as the honour killings of his daughter's American husband and her friend who was an Iranian women's rights activist.
Ali Mahwood-Awad Irsan was found guilty of capital murder last month in the 2012 fatal shootings of his son-in-law, Coty Beavers, and his daughter's friend, Gelareh Bagherzadeh. The Harris County jury deliberated for just 35 minutes — after five weeks of testimony — before reaching the verdict in Houston.

The same jury deliberated about nine hours before sentencing him to death for the killings, which occurred about 11 months apart. When the jury's punishment verdict was announced, Irsan slumped slightly.

Families of the victims cried, hugged and took pictures together after Irsan was led out of the courtroom.

Prosecutors alleged that Irsan, a 60-year-old conservative Muslim, became enraged after his daughter married Beavers, a 28-year-old Christian, and converted to Christianity. Investigators said Bagherzadeh had encouraged her friend to marry Beavers.
Irsan's wife, Shmou Alrawabdeh, testified at trial that her husband tried to "clean his honour" with the killings. She told jurors her husband also intended to kill their daughter, Beavers' twin brother and Beavers' mother.

Bagherzadeh was targeted first. Police said Irsan, his wife and their son, Nasim, followed the 30-year-old Bagherzadeh to her parents' home in January 2012, and that Nasim Irsan shot her in her car. Nasim Irsan is awaiting trial on a capital murder charge.

Beavers and Nesreen Irsan were married in in July 2012.

That November, Ali Mahwood-Awad Irsan slipped into Beavers' unlocked apartment near Houston, waited for his daughter to leave for work, then shot his son-in-law, according to Alrawabdeh, who testified in her husband's trial as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Irsan portrayed himself as a devoted father who became upset after his daughter ran away from home. At trial, he told jurors that he wasn't involved in the deaths but acknowledged that his daughter had caused his family pain by marrying Beavers.

Nesreen Irsan testified that she had to obtain a protective order to prevent her family from harassing her after she moved out.
Her father, a naturalized U.S. citizen, was sentenced to federal prison in 2015 for scamming the Social Security Administration.

Irsan's attorneys said they were disappointed in the verdict and noted that it would automatically be appealed.
