It's interesting that we connect this nutty neighbour complaining about bacon to her religion, but we don't connect the folks who have cause almost all of the death and mayhem in this world to their religion.

Hitler*, Reagan and Bush were all conservative Christians, for example.

Most Muslims are perfectly nice people. This particular neighbour simply has a few screws loose.

The restaurant owner defused the situation, got some publicity and in a few weeks all will be forgotten.

I wouldn't even put them on the same political spectrum that mainstream Canada would fall under. No one in Canada is advocating for what they stood for (at least the bad stuff), so they shouldn't even be put on the same spectrum. Nazis were neither right or left, but rather totalitarian nationalists. Sure, some of their soft policies were left or right, but their abhorrent policies were neither. You can't say that just because someone wanted to bring in old age security and gas Jews at the same time that they are left left-wing just because they were in favour of more social programs, especially when their primary goal was the gassing of Jews. Similarly, when the Nazis advocated for religious freedom and the gassing of Jews at the same time, it doesn't mean that the political wing in Canada that advocates for religious freedom is aligned with Nazis.

I clicked on the link.... ASIANS!?? LOL, the headline itself is trying to be PC by not willing to point out which part of Asia these people are from, and more importantly what their religion happened to be. Yes, I know it does make inference later on, but they could have been less PC right off the bat.

Men who sexually abuse children should be hanged irrespective of their race, religion, or preference for bacon. The problem in the UK is Sharia, not race.

It all boils down to one thing. You come to a country you abide by their rules or stay home.
