California fires
Some perspective. The King fire, burning near Pollock Pines east of Sacremento, burned 2/3 of the acerage (45000 acres) burned in the Okanagan Mountain fire in 24 hours! There are 3800 people involved in the fight, including 2000 on the fire line.
