I wouldn't be handing it to Clinton quite yet. My money is on Sanders for the win. Either way though it will be a Democrat taking the Presidency.

Either way this is going to be one heck of an interesting nomination and election...something to 'enjoy' while the Canadian dollar slips, stock and investments plummet and our economy swirls around the toilet...

LOL - sorry, there just aren't enough people in the US dumb enough to vote for Sanders, if he manages to get enough dumb people in the Democrat Party to elect him as leader. The Republicans could run a dead dog next to Sanders and win. That guy's policies make him just plain unelectable. He will only draw votes from people who are incapable of thinking more than one move ahead at a time, and are completely incapable of seeing the consequences of insanely stupid far-left economic and taxation policies, even with Venezuela staring them right in the face.

Actually polls show that a much greater proportion of voters would vote Sanders over Trump than would vote Clinton over Trump.

And I imagine that Bernie Sanders will gather support from those who aren't super rich and who don't appreciate the way the banks have been allowed to repeatedly destroy the economy and then turn government handouts into multi million dollar exec bonuses.

Wall Street will be business as usual under Clinton.

Sorry, but when I see a candidate pandering vigorously to the slack-jawed morons out there who can't understand why dividends are taxed at a lower rate than regular income it just screams of pure evil intent on the part of the candidate. Sanders' entire campaign is based on fear and jealousy, as well as depending on the stupidity of the voter to not easily see through his lies, which is just sad. This is why I also don't like Trump. He promotes just as much fear and hatred as Sanders, just in different ways.

I wouldn't be handing it to HRC yet either. She may yet face legal problems over her email server so instead of making speeches she might be spending a lot of time consulting with her lawyers. As for Trump I still doubt that he will be the Republican nominee. I'm sticking with my original prediction of Marco Rubio and if he has a good showing tonight, as I expect, there may be a move from others to back him in an "anyone but Trump" strategy.

You make a good point. Under Sanders the entire economy and all banks will be completely destroyed, so no one will have to worry about them failing anymore, as they'll be gone, or worry about finding a job, as there won't be any.

Could you provide a link to where Sanders said he'd get rid of banks? I see a lot of Sanders news but haven't seen that. I did see where he said he would break them up so they weren't so large as to be able to destroy the country's economy. That seems reasonable to me and is certainly not eliminating.

He is a Democratic Socialist. That means he believes in regulated Capitalism. This is entirely different from the definitions of the terms Socialist or Communist.
