No, Musk does not have 50 Billion in NASA Contracts. SpaceX (not Musk) could end up with a value of over $50 Billion depending on future endeavours (as per the article you posted). As far as NASA contracts go, they don't even add up to $1 Billion.

Obviously, you're the only one that doesn't understand large numbers - the dollar value of projected company value does not mean that is how much money a company is awarded in contracts - those are two completely different things.

Regardless, I'm still waiting for your response as to how SpaceX relates to the Tesla vehicle division from a financial standpoint. Tesla Vehicles has been burning though obscene amount of money over the last year and will continue to do so in the coming year.

They are two separate entities - one’s value has nothing to do with the other. And yes, I am admire his financial success and personal wealth, I’d love to be able to achieve similar. I also admire his ambitions and visions, but his business sense and decisions are lacking in a dangerous direction for his investors.

Tesla as a car company may not last too long. There is plenty of competition and the Model 3 now has a soft opening as buyers are looking at other options. Tesla has been downgraded by Goldman Sachs so borrowing will cost Elon more. Demand for Tesla vehicles appears to be falling. Saying that, some have suggested that SpaceX and Tesla will merge... in order to save Tesla’s A$$.
