Obama - He added $7.917 trillion, a 68 percent increase, in seven years....... (never came close to 101% in 8 years either).

Bush - Bush increased the debt 101 percent from where it started on September 30, 2001.

You are being illogical. Basically, you're saying the Bush spending like a drunken sailor makes it OK for Obama to do the same and then some. Meanwhile, Reagan spent far less than either of them, but that's worse because Carter had spending under control. To make matters more complicated, Congress has a large say in budgets, but that's for another time.

Of course not, it's all in context, as Obama was accused of increasing the US debt the most by some posters on this forum. I was only pointing out Bush increased it even more percentage wise which would make it worse.....plus his was "war debt" and bailout money for the Big Banks because the rich got too greedy and peed on the poor. Not the greatest way to spend money, wouldn't you agree?
