I have always said the both the far left and the far right are antithetical to democracy, which in its modern form is liberal democracy. Both the far left and the far right (which includes theocracy) have littered modern history with tyranny. Stalin, Kim Jung "xxx", Mao, Mussolini, Idi Amin, Khomeni, the Saudi family dynasty, Putin and right on down to Hitler. Older history was characterized by tyrants of many sorts.

So when 600 Harvard alumni sign a petition to rescind fellowship invitations to spicer and lewandowski, do we agree with them?
