Actually what Obama wrote was To “Be Donald Trump” Is The American Dream, and the author notes “it’s worth remembering that there was a time when Obama had a soft spot for Trump”. Most of us can change our opinion when given enough evidence. Some can only remain rigidly partisan no matter. It is interesting to watch the desperate lengths Trump’s dwindling number of supporters will go to try and create deflections or divert attention away from his current imbecilic behavior.

The government is shutting down because Donald Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing

Welcome to 2018.

Back in November 2016, the Electoral College, in its wisdom, selected a man to be president who 61 percent of voters felt was unqualified and 63 percent felt lacked the right temperament to be president. The voters were, of course, correct about Donald Trump, and the government shutdown stems from those facts.

Trump set the current crisis in motion last September when he revoked Barack Obama’s executive order that protected DREAMERs — young unauthorized immigrants brought to the US as children — from deportation, but he offered no guidance about what he wanted to happen next, other than for Congress to do ... something.

The lack of clarity emboldened immigration hardliners in the GOP caucus while simultaneously raising hopes for a deal among immigration reformers. But Trump’s intervening behavior wound up salting the earth by leaving everyone feeling that he might screw them over at any moment. Consequently, nobody is quite sure exactly who is shutting down the government or what it is the White House is trying to achieve by rejecting a bipartisan proposal that would avert a shutdown.

 Art off the deal indeed.

   yup, that's exactly what this meaningless fluff piece proves. That, and just how desperate his apologists have become ( the ones who are still making excuses for him were obviously always gullible and stupid - and that's the truth)

At least Obama left him with a growing economy, soaring job numbers and a climbing stock market that he was able to take credit for, and a base of support uneducated and gullible enough to believe it. Trump loves the uneducated. He even said so.

Donald Trump Is Ending His First Year as the Most Unpopular President in Modern History

President Trump will end his first year in office more unpopular than any president in modern history, according to a poll released Friday.

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds that just 39% of Americans approve of Trump’s performance, the lowest figure the poll has found for a modern president completing one year in office, according to NBC News.

So, basically 47% blame Republicans and 31% blame Democrats and 10% blame both. So, of those who blame one side or the other, 60% blame Republicans and 40% blame Democrats. I guess that's a reasonable assessment of the situation.

High praise. Trump isn't stupid! I would hope we demand more of our leaders than they just be not stupid. As someone who has repeatedly boasted about intelligence and IQ, you would think he would produce some evidence. He demanded such of Obama and his birth cert. I think most people think he is impetuous rather than stupid.
