Corker's comments have yanked away the curtain on a conversation that has been rampant in Washington for months. In private, and in off-the-record chats, numerous Republicans criticize the president and fret about instability.
One well-placed military officer aware of high-level discussions confirmed Corker's account.

He described in an off-the-record chat with The Canadian Press how senior brass work constantly to block the worst ideas from the White House for fear of escalating tensions and provoking war.

He cited three indispensable players and offered a dark prognosis of what should happen if chief of staff John Kelly, Defence Secretary James Mattis, or National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster left government: "Start panicking."

What’s this storm that Trump is telling Americans “you’ll find out” about?
"Dishwashers, the dishwasher, right? You press it. Remember the dishwasher, you press it, there'd be like an explosion. Five minutes later you open it up the steam pours out, the dishes -- now you press it 12 times, women tell me again." - Trump

I figured out why Trump is confident about an IQ test versus Tillerson:

Trump thinks IQ scores work like his golf scores, the lower the better [icon_lol2.gif]
The middle path - everything in moderation, and everything in its time and order.

Atwood‘s dystopian novel The Handmaid’s Tale, first published in 1985, has shot back up the bestseller lists after being made into an award-winning TV series depicting a totalitarian future in a United States where women are forced into sexual servitude.

Donald Trump‘s election as U.S. president has, for some critics, brought that vision closer to reality as he uses social media to browbeat opponents, and lawmakers in a number of states seek to restrict women’s reproductive rights.

“It feels the closest to the 1930s of anything that we have had since that time,” the 77-year-old Atwood told a news conference, drawing parallels with the fascist and communist regimes which then ruled parts of Europe.

Atwood was attending the annual Frankfurt Book Fair, where she receives the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade on Sunday. The award citation praises Atwood‘s “political awareness and alertness for developments beneath the surface”.

You know things are bad when the founder of Hustler is offering $10 Million for dirt on Trump to get him impeached.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

There was "dirt" on Trump before he got elected. It may have helped him get elected! More dirt won't bury him.
It's possible to do all the right things and still get a bad result.

The Fix Analysis
Kellyanne Conway is a terrifyingly quotable Pennywise the Clown in SNL’s biting sketch

"Saturday Night Live” may have found its most uncharitable caricature of someone in President Trump's orbit this weekend, featuring Kellyanne Conway as the scary clown from Stephen King's recently revitalized film “It.”

The real butt of the joke, though, is cable news.

In the highly cinematic prerecorded sketch, CNN's Anderson Cooper (played by Alex Moffat) stumbles upon Conway (Kate McKinnon) in full Pennywise makeup in a sewer on a stormy night. While down there, she promises Cooper buzzy and crazy quotes — “Puerto Rico actually was worse before Hurricane Maria, and the hurricane did actually blow some buildings back together,” for example — in exchange for getting booked on his show.

sexual deviant trump to widow of soldier

https://www.google.ca/amp/nypost.com/20 ... p-for/amp/

The widow of Army Sgt. La David Johnson received the five-minute call from Trump one day after he falsely claimed that Presidents Obama had not called the families of fallen soldiers, Rep. Frederica Wilson told The Post.
“They were astonished,” Wilson said. “It was almost like saying, “You signed up to do this, and if you didn’t want to die, shouldn’t have signed up.”

Wilson, a Democrat from Florida, said the widow Myeshia Johnson spoke with Trump for about 3-5 minutes and her only words were “thank you” at the end of the conversation.

I agree. SNL did a good job of making fun of fake news CNN.

Senator Jeff Flake (R) is giving a speech on the floor of the senate right now, that is ripping a big hole in how Trump is acting as President and how the Senate and Congress is not doing their job by ignoring his behaviour for their own political reasons and not doing what is right for the American people.
