Perhaps for some Joe but he's still presenting like an interloper and not being very Presidential.

If he could offer a even a morsel of decorum it would help.

Razing a protester, gloating and ranting on and on...

He once again showed his lack of respect for women when he welcomed lurid comments about his wife.

Going on and on about fake news, etc...like really?

Let it go, man...you're the President of the United States...start acting like it!!!

Present some grace and decorum!!!

The beautiful thing for Trump supporters in dismissing all news as fake news (especially for the anti-education types who would be hard-pressed to tell the difference anyway) is that they can “train” their minds to accept that only what the Donald is telling them is the truth ("quit investigating me, I've done nothing wrong - can I pardon myself?").

Under Bannon’s Leadership, Breitbart Openly Embraced The White Supremacist right.

And Jeff Sessions,

"He opposed the decriminalization of homosexual sex, opposed same-sex marriage, blamed school shootings on laws protecting disabled students, and supported the Supreme Court decision striking down key portions of the Voting Rights Act, saying “now if you go to Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, people aren't being denied the vote because of the color of their skin." More recently, he was among the first to back Donald Trump’s proposal for a ban on Muslims entering the country, and trivialized the president-elect’s admission of sexual assault."

Trump himself is well known for having lost discrimination lawsuits as far back as 1973.

Time to stop being obtuse.

HG, you wrote this back in February of 2017. I can't think of any one getting betrayed the worse than Jeff Sessions today.

He must be completely shocked and surprised that his new political hero, Donald Trump has turned out to be the complete snake everyone said he'd be. Leaving him twist in the political wind like Donald is doing now must be a blow, a major blow to Sessions.

The message is clear: there is no law to rule Donald and no one had better suggest it.

I'm sure Jeff Sessions had a wonderful celebration dinner out when he got appointed as AG by Donald Trump.

Now look at what the hell is happening to him. :135:
https://www.castanet.net/edition/news-s ... htm#202716

Snippet:

His intensifying criticism has fueled speculation that the attorney general may step down even if the president stops short of firing him. But several people close to the former Alabama senator have said he does not plan to quit.

In private, Trump raged to confidants that Sessions had been disloyal in recusing himself from the federal investigation of Russia's meddling in the presidential election and the possibility of collaboration with the Trump campaign. Sessions himself had met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak before the election as a representative of the Trump campaign and thus stepped aside from the probe.

As he has previously, Trump said he would have "quite simply picked someone else" for the job if he'd known Sessions would recuse himself. He called Sessions' decision a "bad thing for the presidency," changing a word from his previous comments that it had been bad for "the president." He also said the attorney general ought to get cracking on stopping leaks from federal intelligence agencies.

Trump figured he had appointed a "YES" man to him, someone who would just pretend there is no law for Trump.
Nope.
So here we are with Trump calling Sessions "weak" etc., and the threatening "we'll see, we'll see." Ya, Sessions, better hope Trump doesn't take a page out of the Clinton's playbook.

I always thought the rats would start running from the sinking ship, but it seems Trump is making them walk the plank, one at a time.

"Yet within the Justice Department, that reaction was viewed as another indication of how little White House officials appear to understand what the Justice Department does. The news conference had been scheduled a week earlier based on an arrest overseas, and a senior European law enforcement official had flown in to participate."

They are having one hell of a time with dealing with a man who clearly thought he hand picked those willing to put the nation at risk of having a dictatorship.

Trump also does not understand the laws he has sworn to protect.

Sessions had to recuse himself in accordance with the DOJ regulation, 28 CFR 45.2 which states

§ 45.2 Disqualification arising from personal or political relationship.
(a) Unless authorized under paragraph (b) of this section, no employee shall participate in a criminal investigation or prosecution if he has a personal or political relationship with:
(1) Any person or organization substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution; or
(2) Any person or organization which he knows has a specific and substantial interest that would be directly affected by the outcome of the investigation or prosecution.

I don't know why there is speculation on whether Sessions should have recused himself or not, it is written in law that he had to and if Trump had half an idea of what he was doing he would never have chosen Sessions as the DOJ head, since Sessions was such a big part of his campaign.

Sorry Genesis for reducing your very articulate post to your first five words.

Not sure if The Donald doesn't understand "much" or just refuses to as he is above all law and order and

they pertain naught to him.

It will be interesting to see how he reacts to Congress passing a bill limiting his ability to lift Russian sanctions.

Me thinks some fur will fly...lol.

Oh Donald at some point someone has to pay the piper.

Senator Lindsay Graham just called Trump "weak" over the way Trump is attacking Sessions.

That should get Trump cranked up.

Trump just stepped in the US military transgender "pile"...he's a complete ignoramus.

What's he gonna do about the currently serving transgender personnel?

Despite top WH aides telling Trump to cool it with the bashing of Sessions the great blathering buffoon

is at it again on twitter. Would somebody PULLEASE unhinge that man's cellphone from his teeny tiny hands?!?!?

Where's Ivanka's 'tempering and rational presence' now?

This is worse than a B rated afternoon soap opera...the ridiculousness just keeps going on and on and on.

Trump pressures Sessions to replace acting FBI Director...headlines on the L.A. Times

How many FBI Directors can one President go through in four years?
And expect the FBI team to be on his side that is.

Nope, Trump has doomed himself. One cannot cycle through FBI Directors like they're babysitters.

Oh wait...

Can't remember where i heard this but believe there's up to 6000 transgender in the US military.
You hear the Trumplican tough talk and it sounds like they have no issue kicking them to the curb. Wow!

Actually just heard you can double that number.
