Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation has reportedly has been looking into Jared Kushner’s efforts to secure foreign funding during the presidential transition, according to CNN. That is an indication, CNN reports, that Mueller is investigating Kushner’s ties beyond Russia to secure funding for his 666 Park Avenue real estate venture, including countries like China and Qatar. According to a CNN source, the investigation has not yet contacted Kushner Companies or interviewed anyone at the company. Kushner divested from the 666 Park Avenue project in early 2017.

Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court released a new congressional map for the Keystone state on Monday afternoon and in the process gave Democrats a likely major boost in their efforts to win back control of the House of Representatives this fall.

The redrawn map—which was offered as a legally mandated fix to the heavily gerrymandered prior lines—reshapes the state such that, according to Cook Political Report’s Dave Wasserman, there are now eight Hillary Clinton districts and 10 Donald Trump districts.

Several dozen high school students from in and around Washington, D.C., staged a ‘lie-in’ demonstration in front of the White House Monday to protest gun violence in schools days after a gunman killed 17 people at a Florida high school.

And meanwhile, their president hides out at his Florida golf resort and continues to "tweet" out his usual garbage.
It's kind of surprising that he didn't take advantage of the tragedy and throw out some brand-name bandages and crutches to the shooting victims, while telling them how they are "the bravest and the greatest, just wonderful people, just fantastic".

Hopefully the people of the USA are finally awakening to the fact they've been duped by a showman. But given the past year of events and the American's apparent choice and acceptance of this buffoon as their leader, it is only hopeful thinking.

Seems like some are, others however are digging in deeper and saying everything bad about Trump is a big liberal conspiracy to take away their rights.

But he will in all likelyhood be disbarred and will represent yet another casualty of Trump who has shown that he has a real knack for destroying the careers of those in his proximity.

Trump's solution to school shootings is to arm 20% of the teachers, if this is his solution, he should get rid of the secret service and arm 20% of the other White House staffers as his security team.

I wish them the best but the states are so gerrymandered that it'll take a lot of republican apathy and swing voters to turn things around.
