Nearly 100 million for this useless parade!
The parade, slated for Nov. 10, is estimated to cost $92 million, the official said. The figure includes $50 million from the Pentagon and $42 million from interagency partners such as the Department of Homeland Security. An initial estimate last month pegged the prospective cost for the parade at $12 million.

"Trump links Canadian lumber imports to deadly California wildfires"
OMG this forum needs a "shaking my head in disbelief" smile.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday linked imports of Canadian lumber to deadly California wildfires, which have forced thousands to flee from their homes.
"And one of the elements that he talked about was the fact that we have fallen trees, and instead of removing those fallen trees, which get to be extremely combustible, instead of removing them, gently removing them, beautifully removing them, we leave them to burn."
"Just to add, just to conclude, especially when Canada is charging us a lot of money to bring their timber down into our country. So ridiculous, here we have it," said Trump. "We're not even talking about cutting down trees... we're talking about lying on the floor creating a hazard and a tremendous death trap."

It makes sense. Like the American Legion stated, instead of spending $100 million on a parade, why not spend the money on Veteran’s Affairs, so the country’s veterans, armed forces personnel and their families get the support they need.

Wow CNN? Must be fake news. Don’t trust the Main Stream Media! America needs this parade to inspire its people under their glorious leader.

There are still plenty of parades honouring the Donald, except instead of uniforms, the parade participants are wearing hoods and wife-beater shirts and carrying tiki torches and confederate flags.

Breaking news. Not fake news, real news!!
Donald Trump is also a logging expert.
He's telling the American public that they need to harvest dead trees in California.
This will lessen the forest fires, and lessen the need for Canadian forest products.
2 problems solved at once, as only the Donald can do

Yet another example of Trump opening his mouth without taking the time to understand what he is talking about. He truly is a monumental embarrassment to the U.S.

I have voted both Conservative and Liberal in our elections, but by no means do I think PM Harper nor PM Trudeau are/were perfect (I voted for both over the years). They both deserve criticism for things they could have done better... but that comes with the job.
I find it infuriating that people can't bring themselves to criticize "their guy" even when he obviously screwed up (this comment is directed at people both on the left and right). They don't hold their own leaders accountable which is scary. Just because you criticize, it doesn't mean you don't support.
i can criticize trump- yes he is a moron, problem is hillary is even a bigger moron that's why trump won

The real problem is the people supporting or making excuses for Trump (who's Hillary?) are the biggest morons of all,
and sadly, America has so many of them. Trump makes Bush look smart. What a sad time to be an American.

African-American support of Trump at 36%, almost double from last year – poll
Support for US President Donald Trump among black voters is currently at 36 percent, almost double the number from last year, according to a new poll. It comes despite reports that a tape exists of Trump using the N-word.
The 36 percent approval rating, revealed in a Rasmussen poll on Thursday, is a huge surge from the same day last year, when his approval among black voters was 19 percent.
The number is also a massive jump from the 2016 election, when Trump received just eight percent of the black vote.

Wow! Maybe next election he’ll get 10%! Unless certain tapes come out I suppose.

Let's consider the source AJ.
Rasmussen Reports is an admittedly right-wing polling company. You know before they release their findings that it will be pro-Trump.
Let's compare those numbers to the latest results from Quinnipiac University, one of the more respected independent polling sources out there. They show Trump with a 9% approval rating amongst blacks, with a disapproval rating of 85%.
