The police have so much to go through and they know some Canadian Jewish organizations had to be evacuated. It will take time to confirm.

Locally, there have been two threats delivered to the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver around West 41st Avenue near Oak Street in recent weeks. Vancouver Police have been investigating and confirm no devices have ever been found. Investigators also say the suspect has no known connection at this point to the threats made locally.

an email, I wondered if that was a big enough reason to have such a big news headline?

If I got an email from Nigeria saying I could earn $1,000,000 easily, would that be considered worthy news?

Is an email from an anonymous person news?

Well a threat of violence is a threat of violence, I don't think it matters how the threat comes in.

If no one took it seriously based solely on the fact it was sent by email and the bombing actually took place, people could have been killed or seriously injured. Kind of important to take seriously, at least in my opinion.

And trying to compare a bomb threat to you receiving a scam email is pretty insensitive in my opinion. Violent attacks are alive and well today, and all threats of violence need to be taken seriously. I am sure if you received an email stating someone was going to blow up your house, you'd be taking it seriously.

I think it's amazing how we have a 150 page Muslim-hate thread on this forum, even though I haven't
seen a Muslim or a mosque in the Okanagan in my life, and with absolutely perfect timing to go along with all
the Muslim terrorism and bombing and trouble in the world, we have a bomb threat headline against
"Jewish Centres," when I don't think I've seen a synagogue in BC in my life, except that one that was on Glenmore Road in Kelowna, if it's still there.

Just the timing of that Castanet headline, kind of impresses me. Even though it was a complete hoax, I can't help thinking of Muslims making bomb threats.
