Social Justice Indoctrination: Colleges To Offer Degrees In SJW Activism



A recent research has concluded that more than 100 colleges and universities are now offering students, both undergraduate and graduate, the option of studying “social justice” as a major or minor degree, or earning a “concentration” or “certificate” in the subject.

The report by College Fix’s Toni Airaksinen analyzed social justice academic programs being offered at major US universities and colleges, determined that more than 100 institutions now offer students the option to specialize in what can be considered left-wing social justice academic programs.

According to the study, “The Fix found at least 64 American colleges that offer minors in social justice or a substantially similar field, such as social justice leadership. At least 18 offer four-year degrees in the field, and at least 15 offer master’s degrees.”

In addition to that, two colleges also offered students doctoral programs with a focus on social justice.

The idea of people going to university and getting a useless degree is not new. They had time wasting degrees in the sixty’s and onward. Colleges have been a hotbed of Marxism since the sixty’s also. This is all part of the personal development that people go thru as they break free from their childhood. The growth from this experience is what counts, the people who learn move on in life, those that stagnant become the fodder for the extremes.

The Yale University dean criticized for posting Yelp reviews that called people “white trash” is leaving her position, according to a report Tuesday.

June Chu, the dean of Yale’s residential Pierson College, had been placed on leave after her controversial postings surfaced.

Lisa Durden was told that she had to cancel her classes and report to Essex County College’s human resources department two days after a June 6 appearance on the prime time Fox News show. School officials then indefinitely suspended her.

“They did this to humiliate me,” Durden told The Star-Ledger. “Essex County College publicly lynched me in front of my students.”

Durden went off on the show in defense of a black-only Memorial Day party organized by Black Lives Matter, dodging a direct question from Carlson on whether it’s okay to exclude people based on race.

So, with colleges and universities removing staff who have exhibited unprofessional and inappropriate behaviour such as these, even though their attitudes are seen as left-wing, and Jordan Peterson still having a job, despite his attitudes being seen as right-wing and his behaviour being somewhat controversial and at times unprofessional, does that mean that colleges and universities are actually right-leaning?

Don't worry, I'm not actually saying that they are, but posting about colleges or universities canning left-leaning staff doesn't support your belief that these places are left-wing cesspools.

BTW, I studied Adam Smith in University, and all manner of other right-wing economists, and for me there was also the obligatory reading of Ayn Rand, Friedman, and many others. I was also exposed to lots of Libertarians including the very interesting, if slightly nutty, Eric S. Raymond. Did that make my University right-wing? In my opinion, Ayn Rand is at least as absurd as most of these more blatant left-wing profs.

In the wake of biology professor Bret Weinstein’s refusal to obey the demand that white students and faculty leave campus for a “Day of Absence,” students not only want Weinstein fired — which school president George Bridges said won’t happen — but also they seem to be on the hunt for others like Weinstein.
“I don’t care what happens to Bret anymore,” one student named Hadley said regarding Weinstein. “He can go and be racist and be a piece of s**t wherever he wants to do that. Hopefully, long-term, we can just weed out people like Bret.”

Grand Valley State University is encouraging students to attend next year’s “White Privilege Conference,” even offering “opportunities for scholarships” to attendees.

After questioning from Campus Reform, GVSU removed the page from its website, explaining that the WPC is "not a university event," even while confirming that administrators are "working with conference organizers.

You realize they aren't offering up school/tuition scholarships though right?? They are just offering up opportunities for scholarships to go to the event.

In addition, opportunities for "scholarships to attend" the conference will be made available as part of the Division of Inclusion and Equity's strategic goal of providing educational and professional development opportunities related to social justice for faculty, staff, and students.
