Oh dang it! They just showed the eye of hurricane and Jim Cantore was pointing out all the debris in the eye, (there's a lot) and he said since that's coming over the ocean it's most likely birds. :/ Poor things. And poor him standing in that wind. I wish you could watch it!

yea some them reporters brave . my freind that worked on odem said she got her family out and safe for now. going to be a wild night for anyone that stayed . terrible event for the people of texas

rockport texas got hit with the eyewall. reports of buildings blown down with people trapped inside and reports of police squad car windows being blown out of the cars

on kztv cbs from corpus christy the reporters are breaking down and showing grief on live tv. hard to watch . the only good news is the hurricane force winds is confined to small area about 50 square miles . now the rain is going to be the real problem

It's made landfall in the last half hour.

They also said some people hadn't left and were asking them to write their Social Security number on themselves to make it easier to identify them. :200:

Seems reasonable. They had every chance to get out.

It's like every thing when the orders are given to get out and you dont', you take your chances.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

She's playing Uno with her hosts ... another couple is also being hosted at the same neighbours ... she'll go check on her house tomorrow morning ...

Some forecasts are calling for as much as a mind-boggling 60 inches (that's five feet) of rain from Harvey.
