Why is it disgusting? I'm willing to bet that you aren't familiar with the Spanish Constitution.

when a country uses its police against its own people having a free vote its disgusting. if you want to support it then fly at it. but most folks wont support that type of action . if our pm did same thing would you be so so flippant ?

They are already free. They voted for independence. And not even half of the registered voters even bothered.

Catalonia, a wealthy region of 7.5 million people in north-eastern Spain, has its own language and culture.
It also has a high degree of autonomy, but is not recognised as a separate nation under the Spanish constitution.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.
