So if this incident happened in 1979, and no allegations have ever surfaced before then, what is the Number One way to sink a persons career in this day and age and climate?

The situation seems to be that he is being forced out of the race on the strength of accusations of sexual misconduct with minors.

Seems our society will now have to go backwards to the days of chaporanes and not leaving our sons and daughters without supervision.

In the meantime, it's too late for many who

1. Have no recourse because there is no proof of innocence.
2. Have no way to defend themselves other than, "I didn't do it."
3. Have powerful careers on the line and seem to be targets.

GB, Franken is going to face an ethics probe. Yes, he's a liberal, but like Roy Moore, he's just one of many people facing allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse.

Seems the whole sexual misconduct scandal is coming from a whole lot of pent up anger from people, and I include gay men harassed by gay men (Spacey).
