#ReleaseTheMemo
#ReleaseTheMemo trends for hours on Twitter, unsurprisingly Mainstream Media keeps quiet
By Alexandra Hollenbeck - January 19, 2018
Twitter goes crazy after Democrats in the House Intelligence Committee voted to conceal a memo that allegedly contains shocking information that could uncover abuses under Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) by the Obama government, specifically senior Justice Department and Federal Bureau of Investigations officials.
Republican representatives who have seen the memo, call for its release suggesting that its contents would prove FISA abuses and reveal corruption in the “Russian collusion” investigation.
Representative Ron DeSantis called for immediate release of the memos to the American people, who deserve the truth.
Representative Steve King tweeted making it seem that the memo reveals ties of corruption to Hillary. Saying that whatever is contained in the memo reveals something worse than Nixon’s Watergate.
Representative Matt Gaetz went on Fox News to say that the contents of the memo are so huge that it will not only end in firings but arrests. He also suggested that the contents reveal that it was Democrats who meddled in the elections and that their voting to not release the memo to other representatives shows that they are hiding something. On his official website, Rep. Gaetz issued a statement saying, “There is no higher priority than the release of this information to preserve our democracy.”
Representative Mark Meadows went on the House floor to call other representatives, and the American people, to demand that the House #ReleaseTheMemo. Rep. Meadows stressed that he is shocked that what he learned from the memo, could ever occur in the United States, saying that the American people deserve to know the truth.
Rep. Scott Perry compared the contents of the memo to communism telling Fox News, “You think about, ‘is this happening in America or is this the KGB?’ That’s how alarming it is.”
The discovery of this memo is a result of investigations headed by the House Intelligence Committee Chairman David Nunes, who a month ago told Fox News that he believes that they had found evidence of FISA abuses. During the same interview, David Nunes stated that they, “have no evidence of Russian collusion and the Trump campaign.”
On Thursday, the House Intelligence Committee voted down the motion set forth by Republicans, to release the memo to the rest of the House. Rep. Matt Gaetz, when going on Fox News, “What are the Democrats hiding?” He said that the Democrats not only want to keep the contents of the memo away from the American people, they want to keep it away from representatives as well.
snip
Of course, as what could be expected, mainstream media has not yet discussed the #ReleaseTheMemo hashtag, as some Twitter users claim the bias toward the Democratic party will make them look bad if the memo would be released.

Re: #ReleaseTheMemo
Of course the memo should be released. Most people by now know it won't matter who occupies the White House, it's all smoke and mirrors. When people talk about the "Dark Government" the suspicions that there is no difference between the parties, that some Elite is in charge, that distractions are used, that the media is controlled, and so on, all memos should be released. How to grow a conspiracy theory? Don't release memoes.
Here I thought there was nothing lower than a snakes belly in a rut in a ditch. I was wrong.

is Don Lemonhead talking about this at all on CNN? Or is he still trying to break the world record for saying
hole on network television?

Yup, release it!
Ruin everyone’s golden boy image of Obummer.
The American people and the rest of the world deserve to hear the truth.
I kind of enjoy listening to news anchors saying shythole, makes me chuckle.

This is what I found on the Fox News here on the 'net, nothing on CNN that I could find:

I'm not at home with the CNN channel at my fingertips though.

The ability to suspend judgment and change your mind when warranted is a distinguishing feature of critical thought

Democratic Socialism

Re: #ReleaseTheMemo
If Nunes is behind this you can pretty much guarantee it's just another polical stunt. Withholding the memo only helps this degenerate who has done everything in his power to obstruct their investigation.
It's pretty telling that with him at the reigns of the House Intelligence Committee that they'd choose to investigate the FBI instead of how Russia interfered in thier election, something which represents an actual national security threat and have done nothing to address. In fact if anything, they now seem to be working in cahoots on this with Russia taking the lead in rallying the Republicans base around a new conspiracy.

But a website claiming to track Russian influence in real time showed that Russia-linked Twitter accounts helped #ReleaseTheMemo go viral.
The website Hamilton 68, named after one of the Federalist papers authored by founding father Alexander Hamilton, claims to track 600 Twitter accounts "linked to Russian influence operations."

Re: #ReleaseTheMemo
On one side u have good people trying to run a country. On the other you have protesters cheering for even more illegal immigration and shutting dpwn the government over it.
Army goes unpaid etc... all to appease illegal immigrants.
How any of you can think this is somehow ok. Is beyond me.
The democrats are evil.

Re: #ReleaseTheMemo
This is why the memo needs to be released.
To rid the USA of this conspiracy spectre in all it's political dealings. Whatever is in the damn thing needs to be shown and come what may.
Otherwise they are bogged down by memo boondoggle forever.

Even if released and it does turn out to be a stunt, they will never let it go away. My suspicion is it's going to be another Bengazi that will keep thier base good and distracted from noticing that thier country is being run by Agent Orange.

Re: #ReleaseTheMemo
Hard to imagine that there is anything in the memo that will show the Obama DOJ, FBI, IRS and other agencies to be any less professional than we already know they were.
Now, the Dems have created a huge distraction with an unnecessary government shutdown. What a bunch of losers.
