No two natural events are ever the same so it’s hard to say what the minimum will bring. Global cooling though has the potential to do far far more damage than global warming.

Wait - you can't tax solar energy coming from the sun (who are you going to bill?), and solar energy doesn't just go to "rich countries" like Canada and the USA, so the whole wealth distribution nonsense that is the basis for the entire man-made climate change movement doesn't apply to this potential "disaster". There doesn't appear to be any way for evil leftist forces to exploit this event for political gain and the diversion of billions of dollars of resources to useless endeavors. This leads me to believe that this actually might be true, and not just invented BS driven by horrible political partisans.
