France Does Not Belong To The French
Hundreds of undocumented migrants occupied a terminal at Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris yesterday to protest against Air France carrying out deportations and demanding they be given permanent residency.
Footage uploaded to Twitter shows some 500 members of the migrant support group La Chapelle Debout gathered in Terminal 2 of France's largest airport.
The protesters called on Air France to 'stop any financial, logistical or political participation in deportations' and demanded a meeting with its leaders, as well as French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe.

Well, actually, France does belong to the French and ultimately, they have the final say on their immigration policies.

Anyone that did not go through proper channels in their immigration to France (in this case) should not be surprised when they are deported.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Someone just arriving at a border and asking for asylum as a refugee IS going through proper channels. Many nations in Sub-Saharan Africa have basically broken down completely with local government having vanished. Central America is also going this way with the corrupt ruling families losing control to street gangs. Any of us would want to get outta there.
Many nations that are safe have thrown up many road blocks to immigration as the flood from the south increases. Coming as a refugee is one of the last resorts.

Asking, sure.
Demanding, no.
Know the difference.

LOL. So why would anyone ever apply for any country through proper channels? What's the point?

There are times when asking for asylum is legitimate. However, what the poster doesn't understand is that asking for asylum, being rejected, deported and accepting the decision is quite different then demanding asylum and protesting, causing public disturbance in a foreign country because you were rejected, isn't the same thing.
