Wheelchair Power Lift

Postby stephe03 » Nov 19th, 2012, 2:07 pm

The Peachland Lions Club are looking for a Wheelchair Power Lift for an individual in need of improved access to his home.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I know what a power lift is in relation to a vehicle, cant see it in relation to a house , unless you mean the stair chair?

It's essentially a mini elevator used to transport wheelchair and person from ground level up to the deck / front door.
Also known as a Porch Lift. Used where a ramp would be too long. In our case we need a 48" minimum lift.

You may want to contact Can Am Mobility in Kelowna. What you're after is a residential vertical platform lift.

If they don't have what you're looking for, they can probably direct you to someone who does.
