They do in the parents circle. I waited until Bean asked...see started asking before she was 2....at 4.5 years we went in and she got it done. Lost one a few months ago and got it redone in November. The ear piercer thanked me for waiting until my child asked.

Kinda what I was getting at - it's common practice especially in certain circles when I grew up and has become more popular over the years. When have you ever seen face waxing? Never heard of it until this woman did it.normaM wrote:oh come now Fancy - I know lots of people who had their babies ears pierced for no other reason that " it's cute"

I've been in salons where the kidlets are getting their hair done, nails painted and make up - under 5. Then parents snap their pictures and everyone oohs and asshs. Guessing some of those same parents would wax a unibrow in a heartbeat
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

Doesn't make face waxing the norm but if those kids objected I'd say that wouldn't have been right either.

This. A million times this.
