I never said that - try quoting next time - you're not making sense.

And still - what does that have to do with pound dogs?

My dog doesn't wear diapers so must be your dog you are talking about.

If you reread what you've posted, you'll realize you are not quoting me right. Use the quote feature. Never said it was my dog on the furniture so moving on and back to topic which seems to have been lost.

Dogs are used in senior homes and other institutions to comfort people. They are beneficial to a person's state of mind and that's according to numerous studies and hands on.

yes I agree they make wonderful companions but not suitable for everyone all the time in a seniors home,Pets are nice but people truly need people.Pets are not the solution to everything and sometimes more trouble than they are worth.

Nobody said they were suitable for everyone nor a solution to everything but sometimes a dog can be man's best friend. There's nothing better than to see someone light up when a dog comes to cheer someone up.

Not all pound dogs would be suitable for this kind of work. Some dogs are specifically bred for different purposes.

yes but i like it better when some asks me how my day was.I don't have to take them outside and pick up there poop after either, another human pro toilet training. It used to be considered sad when the elderly were left alone with nothing but a pet for companions ,apparently they are now the new human. Remember the crazy cat lady. She is now an independent rescue shelter.

You missed the point - watch someone who lights up watching a dog come up to them for a pat on the head - it's therapeutic.
