The scientific fact is Obama's daughter got asthma from Climate Change. It had nothing to do with peanuts or smoking. Nope, it was climate change for sure. Please, people, for the same of science and asthmatics everywhere, stop making the world warmer.

You miss the point entirely, JLives.

It is patently ridiculous to say "if you don't agree with my stance on climate change, you don't care about the planet".

There are plenty of us who have lived our entire lives being conscientious about how we use resources, and about how we treat the earth. We've volunteered with environmental recovery and recycling initiatives, routinely picked up litter in our neighbourhoods on our daily walks, and a whole lot more that didn't involve any form of "look what an environmentalist I am" grandstanding and politicking. We simply do not agree with your stance on climate change.

It is patently, utterly ridiculous to say that unless we agree with what you agree with, we do not care. Shallow reasoning, and you too are capable of much, much better.

Warming the oceans.....active underwater volcanoes.

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — An active undersea volcano off the Oregon Coast has apparently begun a new eruption — an event which was predicted by two scientists months ago.

Based on a swarm of thousands of earthquakes and a seafloor drop of 8 feet, the eruption of the submarine volcano called Axial Seamount commenced on April 24.

The apparent eruption was observed by scientists in real time, with the help of high-tech instruments installed by scientists at the University of Washington.

A senior environmental official at the United Nations, Noel Brown, says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the earth by rising sea levels if global warming is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of “eco-refugees,” threatening political chaos, said Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program. He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human…

there's no point missed , you claim to have all this care for earth , yet do not accept that the earth could end up like venus . venus is a result of runaway greenhouse effect. its as simple as that

Scientists are warning of an increasing environmental chain reaction as the melting of Arctic ice hits a new record this year.

This winter, the ice at the top of the northern hemisphere reached its peak thickness near the end of February, weeks ahead of normal.

"The peak was Feb. 25, the normal peak is mid-March," said Jeff Key who specializes in satellite research with the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA).

It was also the smallest extent of winter ice ever recorded in satellite records, Key told reporters at a U.S. State Department briefing in Washington, D.C. Tuesday. Tuesday's briefing confirmed initial findings released in March.

"We had less ice this winter in the Arctic than any other winter during the satellite era," said Key.

He said that most dramatic swings in winter ice are occurring the Beaufort Sea, which stretches from Canada's northwest coast to Russia.

"The Beaufort sea has seen tremendous changes over the last few years from one year to the next, and very opposite swings, which we are trying to explain," Key told reporters.

Dramatic changes

The size of Arctic winter ice cover has been declining since about 2002. It rebounded in 2013 only to decrease again this year. Scientists aren't sure why there are such dramatic swings, but they do know for certain the overall trend is downward.

Interesting article from the Telegraph:

Australia PM adviser says climate change is 'UN-led ruse to establish new world order'

Tony Abbott's business adviser says global warming a fallacy supported by United Nations to 'create a new authoritarian world order under its control'

Climate change is a hoax developed as part of a secret plot by the United Nations to undermine democracies and takeover the world, a top adviser to Tony Abbott, Australia’s prime minister, has warned.

Maurice Newman, the chief business adviser to the prime minister, said the science showing links between human activity and the warming climate was wrong but was being used as a “hook” by the UN to expand its global control.

“This is not about facts or logic. It’s about a new world order under the control of the UN,” he wrote in The Australian.

“It is opposed to capitalism and freedom and has made environmental catastrophism a household topic to achieve its objective.” Born in Ilford, England, and educated in Australia, Mr Newman, a staunch conservative and former chairman of the Australian Stock Exchange, has long been an outspoken critic of climate change science.

and let me guess, it's the Lizard people running the UN responsible for this conspiracy
