the sad fact is they are almost never punished no matter how harsh the crime and when they are they get almost nothing.
lets see what mantler gets for kicking a guy in the face.
my bets is he will have no problems meeting marty robinson (murdered 2 people in vancouver and walked) for a mexican holiday after the trial.
there is no real fair and open system in Canada when it comes to police abuse and i doubt there ever will be.
