Why every child should learn how to lie

All children should be taught how to lie as soon as they start school.

Remember when your parents told you it was bad to lie? They were lying.
If we don't teach children how to lie, how will they know when they're being lied to?

Lies are good for many things. Sometimes lies are necessary to avoid bigger problems later on.
The important thing is to know when to lie.

Kids should all know when our government lies to us, how businesses lie with false advertising ,
and even when the teacher is lying.
There are so many great things to know about lying, it could be taught as a separate subject in school, like reading or math.

I lie when I respond to your posts and have to stay within forum rules. And I don't like it.

Otherwise I don't lie much at all and taught my kids not to lie.

It's easier, in real non-castanet-forum life, to keep my mouth closed instead of lying.

Thinktank learned how to lie at a very early age and has been practicing his craft ever since.

They say there's a sucker born every minute. That means two things:
#1 - there is definitely a need for more learning about liars. We don't study lies nearly enough. We don't know
much about the lie. Religion is to blame for that. Religion said lying is 'of the devil' and that's all. We should be learning
everything we can about lies and liars so we can avoid being a sucker.

#2 - For every sucker born every minute, there's a liar. That means there's no shortage of liars out there but
there is not enough information about the subject of lies.

Luckily you do not need to take a course on lying to learn it. Just like Robert Bateman taught himself how to paint
- he never took an art course - everyone here can teach themselves to lie. It just takes practice. Lots of practice.
You can be a successful liar too. Eventually you will be able to lie with a straight face. Like a politician.

Here is a book that everyone should read (especially thinktank). For those of you too lazy to read, I can summarize his findings in a single sentence: Everyone should learn to always be honest.
